"How long is the burner heat cycle supposed to be for a 2007 Kenmore dryer?"

That would depend on which dryer setting (permanent press, cottons, delicate, etc) you had it set on and the amount of time you had it set to dry. The time setting is really what determines how long the cycle will be. The other setting determines the amount of heat that will be needed for that selection..

Hope this helps ....

Dryer wgd5300, takes a long time to dry. seems

The burner is supposed to05245ec.jpg cycle on and off all through the drying cycle. Over time the operator coils 279834 get weak and quit. They are really easy to replace. This short video show a normal Burst of heat from a dry and the normal length of time it fires off

I just bought a gas dryer - takes forever to dry clothes

check the high limit switch/thermostat on the burner housing and if they are weak they will cycle the heat off too soon and it wont build the heat you have it set for, just bypass it with a jumper wire to test it,if this is the problem, dont leave it bypassed, replace it as it is a safety feature to prevent a fire

Kenmore dryer heats at first but then stays cool.

Check that the air entry and exit passages to and from the burner are clear of lint or a stray sock.

Dryer heats for 3 minutes, flame quits

the flame is suppose to cycle on and off. If the flame ran continously you would have a fire. And please don't use the top of it for anything such as clothes piles. Dryers need to be free of clutter on top. I know it may be hard to do but do it and your dryer will last you. Good Luck. Whatever you jumpered reverse it ok!

Is your cycling themostate good, cutting off when suppose too?  and Hi limit on burner good?

THe cycling themostate control drum temp, hi limit on heater is a back up and the hi limit fuse on burner backs up it all
