How do I remove a stuck DVD?

It sounds like your problem isn't the dvd is stuck, since it seems to be spinning up, it sounds more like your ejection system has stopped working for some reason.
To fix either you are going to have to remove the outside case of the dvd player and expose the internal chassis. There are anywhere from 4 to 8 screws holding it on on the bottom and back of the unit, Make sure the dvd player is unplugged before you remove the cover.
Once you have the cover off, if the dvd is simply stuck, you should be able to see what the issue is; is it misaligned in the housing was it inserted incorrectly, are there in fact 2 dvds in the player, etc, etc. Gently remove the dvd and replace the case and enjoy.
If you can't see any reason for it to be stuck it may be the ejection system. The eject system will have a belt and sprocket system to move the tray or push out the dvd depending on the player. Make sure the belt is on the wheels correctly and that the sprockets mesh properly. If you can't see anything wrong try testing the ejection system with the case off.
Make sure you don't have any objects in or touching the dvd player, you don't want to short out any of the components if a screw fell into the dvd player onto the mother board, etc. Plug the dvd player back in, make sure you don't touch the inside and try to eject the dvd. Watch the ejection system and you should be able to figure out what is going wrong. Once you have figured it out unplug the unit and put the items back together. If you can see that something is broken then you will have to determine if you can have it fixed or if it wouldn't be cheaper to simply ditch that unit and purchase a new one.
Hope this helps.

DVD stuck in player will not eject. Unit is 2 weeks old!!

It is not uncommon for electronics to fail after such a short time. This is what the industry calls the "burn-in period" and is what the warranty is for. To get your DVD out, you can take off the cover (unplug unit first!), look at the drawer mechanism, and spin, by hand, the eject motor so you can get the drawer to start to open. Once that is done, you can pull the drawer all the way out by hand to get the disk. Close it back, assemble it, and turn it in for warranty work/replacement. Hopefully removing the cover won't have voided the warranty... Good luck.

As I tell everyone who has a problem similar to yours, the cost of repair may exceed the value of the unit. At 13 years old your VCR has no value. You can purchase brand a new Samsung combo VHS/DVD recorder for under $100.

My DVD Ram drive is not reading any CD/DVD

The most common reasons for a power calibration error is a dirty lens or bad media. Clean the lens with a short burst of cabbed air or carefully wipe it with a cotton swab.
Good luck.

DVD player in honda odyessy won't eject disc or play

the first thing to check is the fuse associated with the dvd player. If it is blown then that is probably your problem. The fact that it blew means there is an electrical short somewhere that will need to be fixed. Otherwise, you will continue to blow fuses. If it is not blown then pull it out for 30 seconds and replace. Then try to operate your DVD.

Dvd won,t eject

This is going to require opening the unit and taking the DVD unit covers off. If you feel confident and are good with tools and have a good memory (to remember how it all goes back together), you should be able to get the DVDs out. Just remember to be careful inside the unit, go slow and don't force anything. After the DVDs are out and you have the unit back together properly it should be OK if no damage was done to the laser assembly. Good luck.

The door might be stuck. Try "helping" it open manually after pressing the eject button. Otherwise, something is probably broken and you might have to call a repairman.
