I had explainted that my Pride Jazzy wont move. The battery light just rolls from lft to rt. The yellow light at bottom flashes 5 times. When we plug it in it appears to be charging again. please help....

Check the freewheel lever at the side of the chair behind the wheels to make sure one isn't in freewheel mode both levers should be up all the way towards the seat. If the levers are up all the way and you are still getting the error then you have a right motor wiring problem and you can't fix this problem yourself. If Medicare paid for your chair then they will pay for most of the repair cost contact your provider or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 Hope this helps

1 flash User Fault (do not touch joystick) and turn back on

2 flashes Battery Fault Recharge batteries or replace

3 Left motor fault check connections or replace

4 Right motor fault check connections or replace

5 Left park brake fault check freewheel lever or brake connections

6 Right park brake fault check freewheel lever or brake connections

7 Remote fault check connections and wiring replace remote(joystick) (Check cable to the joystick unplug connector at rear of chair and plug back in then try turning on to see if you are getting same code)

8 Controller fault Check connections and wiring replace controller

9 Communication fault check cable replace (almost same problem as 7) try same fix if doesn't work joystick will have to be replaced

Joystick lights all flash, new batteries, doesn't move.

The number of lights that are flashing can indicate what the problem is. Make sure that all of the battery connections are tight and the fuses are good. Try to reset any circuits like the freewheel/brake lever. You can also visit this site for help:
http://www.pgdt.com/scenter/diagnostics/diagvsi.html
Locate the type of controller on your power chair to see what the flashing lights are trying to tell you.
Good luck!

Controller light is flashing and chair will not move

Sandi Count the number of flashes ie: 4 flashes pause 4 flashes pause etc. This will give you the flash error code and your users manual should tell you what the number of flashes indicate. (for example 3 flashes bad brake) Also check to make sure your scooter is not in freewheel. Turn off the scooter and move the freewheel lever in and out of gear a few times then turn the scooter on and see if you still get the flashes. If you can't figure out what is wrong then contact your provider and ask if they can check it out for you. Hope this Helps

Lights blinking when power is turned on chair will not move

RB Are the lights giving you a flash code ie: 4 flashes pause four flashes etc or are they all flashing with no pattern? Make sure the chairs freewheel levers are in the drive position then turn it back on to see if they still flash. If the lights are scrolling from right to left then the joystick is in lockout mode. let me know what you find and maybe we can figure this out. Hope this helps you

Dave did you check to make sure you are not in freewheel. If you can push the chair easily then you are. Even having one side in freewheel will cause the flashes. Move the levers to drive mode that are on the back of the motors then turn the chair on and see if it works Hope this helps Also make sure the charger is still not plugged in.

Wheel chair won't move. Batteries have been charging for several hours and have some charge but chair will not move.Any suggestions? Thanks

Romp, Did you check the freewheel levers chair will not move if you are in freewheel. Levers are in front next to seat posts and need to be facing forward. If you are not in freewheel then check the number of lights you have on on the joystick and that they aren't flashing. Also check that your speed control is not on the lowest setting even with some charge a slow speed setting will not let the chair move. Now by some charge you mean lights in the green on the joystick? If the lights aren't flashing then I'm kinda unsure other than even with some charge the batteries don't have enuf current to drive the motors and need to be replaced Hoe this helps

Lights flashing

If your chair is in freewheel (levers on back of motors not in drive) then the light will flash. But are the lights scrolling left to right or right to left? You can check for freewheeling by trying to push the chair from behind if it moves easily then it is in freewheel and you will have to move the levers to the drive position. You need to give more info of the flashing lights are all the lights flashing are only some flashing? etc

Chair won't go. Lights flash

Check your freewheel levers. They must be engaged or the lights will flash and the chair will be inoperable. These levers are under the shroud behind drive wheels. (One on each side)
