Question about Gigabyte GA-8TRS350MT Motherboard

2 Answers

I have a problem with my Gigabyte GA-8TRS350MT motherboard. I started my PC up, but the monitor didn't switch on. Later that day, I tried again, and it worked! Then after about 1-2 hours, it switched off again. It justs happens randomly. I tried another CPU, and the same happens (It just doesn't want to start up, and when it does it shuts down after a few hours) My fans, HDDs and other components all work 100%. The monitor works fine with other PCs, and I tested the components with other PCs too, AND THEY ALL F****NG WORK! Please help!

Are you using on board video. If so, try using a video card . If the video card don't work, more than likely out of my experience the motherboard is shot.

It sounds like a power supply problem not the mother board, you have some bad electrolytic caps in the power supply that need to be change, or just replace the power supply.

Hello, i have microfone problems on GA-EX58-UD5 It all started on Win Vista 64 with Logitech Digital precision. I always thougth they sucked cause mic never worked like it should. Problems were mostly...

Looking at the Logitech website at the link below this is a classic example of a Windows 7 Driver not being available.

http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2193/section/troubleshoot/crid/438/lt_product_id/2986/tabs/1,3,2,5/cl/us,en/kw/

You could try downloading the latest Audio Driver for your GA-EX58-UD5 Mainboard from the link below by selecting your operating system, but I think as long as you're running Windows 7 these problems will just continue until they get their act together and start poducing the required drivers.

One long beep tone---NO Display on monitor(monitor checked ok)

Definitely not your monitor. It is either a CPU or a Memory problem, is this a new build or did an existing computer suddenly start doing this?

Is that your motherboard, the Gigabyte 7VM400M ?

Check your monitor,if it is running fine.Switch off your pc and monitor both.Switch on again. If u are not getting any display on screen ,u may need to repair your monitor.in between press on capslock or numsluck key.If keys are giving lights then 100% it is a monitor problem.

Pc sometimes cannot find ide devices

You can try wiping the cmos settings, as they may be corrupt, find the JBAT1 terminal on your mobo and put jumper across pins 2-3 then back to pins 1-2. Boot up pc and reset time, date and get the bios to auto identify drives, normally F12 depending on mobo. Also check that your cmos battery isn't low as it may keep losing the settings.
