Make sure that your chain is properly tightened and that the bar does not have any dents or dings in guide groove.I like to have my chains tightened to where you can pull them up at the mid-point of the bar about enough to fit the thickness of a nickle in between it and the bar.Do this when saw and chain are at operating temperature. If nothing else helps try a new chain if you have reached the end of tensioning adjustments. Thank you.

2 of my electric makita chainsaws have dime tip carving bars. chains keep coming extremely loose after only a few cuts. I spent as much time tightening the chains as carving.

chains that come loose that fast , and is not a cause of a weak bar bolt slipping , for sure is caused by improper oiling of chain and its overheating , heat makes metal expand so chain goes slack if it gets hot

Makita electric chainsaw runs intermittenly?

Most likely loose wiring inside the casing of some kind. When it comes to chainsaws gas really is better. You can pickup a 14" at Lowes or Home Depot for a little over $100. Take care of it like the manual says and it'll last much longer than an electric one.

I require a maintenance manual

Go to http://www.makitatools.com/en-us/Modules/Tools/ToolDetails.aspx?ID=25942. They have the parts breakdown and owner's manual. If that link doesn't work go to the Makita homepage, www.makitatools.com and search on your model number.

What is the oil to gas ratio for a homelite zr 10926 16 chain saw

This is a current Homelite product although not your saw. This clearly recommends 50:1 as do I. I find no OM for your saw, a "Ranger 33cc 16" Chain Saw UT-10926"
http://www.homelite.com/product_manual/file_url/66/UT10540_60_80_QSG.pdf
Dolmar, Echo, Efco, Homelite, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Makita, Oleo-Mac, Red Max, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Solo, Spear & Jackson, Stihl & Tanaka; all recommend 50:1 and have for a number of years.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 80 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.

I suggest you contact Homelite and request an OM for your saw.
Homelite/Ryobi.com (Contact Us)
https://register.homelite.com/contact_us/new
Please ask they prove a link to a site where ALL homelite product OMs may be accessed.

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.

Tightening chain

with the electric makita you should make sure the bar is sitting on that oval slide piece on the saw. they should fit together so that the bar will sit flush against the clutch plate and saw. attach the cover with the nut and tighten just enough to hold the cover on. then turn the screw on the nose of the saw, next to the bar, and then tighten the nut the rest of the way. if there's slipping or the chain wont tighten you should inspect the bar to make sure it is sitting flush against the saw.
