I have an Orion tvset CRT, model T20MS, which, when turned on, has a milky image, and after a few seconds, has a good image and works normally. Where is the problem? Which component is out of order?

Do it work after some time? Is picture and sound are OK after that? Provide more details please.

1.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, then press 500 pound ( #)
2.) Hold down the clear "TV" button on the remote for four seconds, press the big power button once.
3.) Press the channel up button once per second until the TV turns off then press pound (#).

If this doesn't work and you have an LCD TV turn off the back light. As it is probably causing interference this is found in the TV menus.

You first need to see if Orion is still in business. I used to see some of their vcr's in my shop. I have been out of the business for a few years now. As for a universal remote working I am sure you will be able to find one that will at least work some of the functions. There is a company named MCM Electronics that you can get in touch with and I am sure they Will be able to help you find something. Their number is 1-800-543-4330. Good luck.

captioning on turn off with remote.

I have an Orion TV/VCR combo with a Philis Universal remote. I had to use the Sansui codes for the combo. My code for my Orion was 632.

try these codes for the orion tv:0121,0135 or 0035. good luck

On your remote should be a button called TV caption or text. Turn off the closed caption as someone hit it and turned it on by accident. If its not on your remote, then it is in the menu. Good Luck Ps Please dont forget to rate this thread.
