Water heater leaks

You have to replace water heater.
But you can buy-time if leak is small by turning heater off except when you need hot water. This will give you 30-60 days to shop and find best heater.

To prevent tank from rusting in this manner, inspect and replace anode rod each 2-4 years, and keep water pressure below 80psi.

Leaking handgun karcher k785

Hello sir, that is a on going problem with power washers the pump not working, than works sporadically. the main cause is leaving the pressure hose hooked up to the machine over a long period of time, not draining hose & machine, in the winter time the hose & pump will freeze causing hose & pump to expand and burst.handle to leak busting the o rings, build up of calcium deposits from hard water clogging up pump nozzle, valves in the gun handle, clogging hose fittings and screens.one of these has to be your problem.you can find a parts brake down at KARCHER.COM.orRJ BOWERS.COM . and manuals, these are good info, sites, hope this helps.thankyou. !!

Hi i have 2 door showing F1 WHAT does itmein

Hi,
That means you had a leak and the under the lower drawer has taken on water. Remove the lower drawer and remove the water. Then locate why your drawer was leaking n the first place. Did you have too tall of an item in it, or did you use the incorrect soap? Normally its a tall item that caused the leak.
Good Luck

You probably have low air pressure to the spray nozzle. Check for dirty air filters at the air pump, which is part of the blower motor. The air output is what controls the fuel delivery. Also check for air leaks around the pump. Spray soapy water on the pump while the blower is running. To check for the proper air pressure off of the pump you will need a very low pressure air gage. There should be a pressure listed on the data plate of your heater or in your owners manual. There is also a pressure regulator on the pump, but do not adjust it without the proper gage. You should also check you fuel pickup screen to be sure it is clean.

I have a Troy Bilt pressure washer with a pin-hole leak where the manifold attachs to the pump unit. Can I just back-off the fasteners, scrape the old gasket off and replace with liquid automotive gasket...

Most likely the piston seals are leaking This is a good thing as since it leaks out it is keeping the water from entering the drive mechanism. If you can find the PUMP brand and model you can get parts fromm a place like www.pressure-washer-parts.com . The parts are inexpensive for just the seals before you ruin the complete pump. When replacing thee seals, you might as well replace the pump packing too since they wear. If you cannot find the pump numbers, then get the Troy Bilt model number and check their web site for parts. http://www.troybilt-gen-pw.com/pressure_washers/ They have parts listed there but i think they only list the complete pump not pump repair parts.

Water leak -- 2000 Ford Windstar

Look for tell tale signs under the bonnet such as brown trails. Do you find water loss when the car is standing still unused or only after having used it. Be methodical, the coolant follows a pretty basic circuits: Primary: engine, thermostat housing, top radiator hose, radiator, radiator bottom hose, water pump (has the drive/fan belt running around its pulley) Secondary: engine rear top pipe, heater matrix for the cabin, return pipe to heater solenoid valve ( allows water to circulate to the heater matrix when you demand heat inside the car), return pipe to the water pump. If you find there is water loss irrespective as to the use of the car the fault should be easy to trace because it means that obvious drips should be forming or puddles created in the car. Note that many leaks in the coolant system only begin to show themselves when the engine is hot. The reason for this is that the coolant system in creases in pressure Checks 1) the coolant filler cap is on securely and that it has a good seal - if this leaks the coolant system fails to pressurize and the engine heat will evaporate the coolant or even steam off. 2) The water/coolant pump is common to both circuits and is worked hard. I always start here; if nothing else just to rule it out as it is a fairly expensive part to replace and the replacement procedure is involved. Check the interior of the engine bay for any sign of splash stains on a line perpendicular to the fan blade rotation. If the front seal on the water pump is leaking it dribbles water onto the pump pulley. When the engine is running this water is spread around in an arc like a garden sprinkler by the pulley and fan rotation. If no apparent engine bay stains are apparent look at the 'chin' of the pump for a vertical drip stain. A slow leak here can occur when the engine is running but the heat of the engine causes almost instantaneous evaporation of the evidence. During engine 'warm up' the water leak will leave evidence of itself as a vertical line of brown running down from the pump centre. 3) Having ruled out the pump another quick check, open the oil filler cap. An abundance of 'mayonnaise' on the underside of the cap and around the entrance to the oil filler means an internal water leak and this will require a cylinder head gasket renewal. ouch! 4) Check the radiator for stains front and back, even a tiny pin hole will leave evidence. 5) check that all the hoses are good and that there are no leaks where they are attach and that all jubilee clips are tight and intact. 6) Check the foot-wells of the car for wet carpets - a sure sign that either the heater matrix or the tubes attached to it are leaking behind the dash board is a soggy carpet. Dab a paper kitchen towel to the dashboard under side to locate the leak 7) Again check all the hoses and connections thereof for leaks. 8) Now a final check. The engine must be cold before you start this!!! Remove the coolant filler cap and top up the coolant to the normal level. Start the engine. Does the water in the coolant filler tank behave really violently and try to bubble out of the filler entrance. If so there is leak into one of the cylinders. This is frequently accompanied by very thick white exhaust gases as a result of steam and burnt glycol antifreeze. The only fix here is to renew the head gasket. If there is still no sign go over the list again but more thoroughly.. the water has to getting out somewhere. If all else fails take it to your garage and have them pressure test your system. Lack of pressure in the system and leaks are synonymous.

Leaking coolant from around water pump just put in new radiator on monday and no leaks from it or hoses, think is weap hole in bottom of water pump.

If it's the weap hole the pump is going bad. That hole is designed to leak as a "warning" that the pump is going to fail.

If you had the engine replaced and have the same leak, it may be be somewhere else. You can rent a tool from most parts stores that pressurizes the cooling system. If you get that tool, top off the coolant and follow instructions to pressurize that system, you may be able to see where it's leaking. While it's under pressure, take a flashlight or shop light and look in all the main areas. (hose connections, radiator, water pump, ect)

Water Leak

While I do agree with eagle338 that water could be leaking from the fill hoses and the pump area, the rest of the instructions apply more for a top load Maytag washer, instead of the front load Whirlpool washer you reported.

Most likely you will have a hole in the front boot area (grey rubber seal around where the door seats). If you find such a leak, send me a note back and I'll write you up a how to to change it out.

The second most common source of leaks come from holes in the tub. This is the white outer part that holds most of the water in the machine. You will easily be able to see it when you remove the panel as listed above in the clarification instructions.

On rarer occasions, you can have something stuck in the fill tube that goes from the dispenser to the tub. Somehow small items become lodged in there. There will be a water inlet about the 10 o'clock position of your boot (grey rubber seal). Probe gently in there with your finger to see if a sock or similiar item got spun into this area.
