Question about HP LaserJet 2300 Printer
These printers read an electronic ship on the cartridge to track toner levels. Sometimes these chips do fail. Try putting your old cartridge back in and if it is recognized then the fault is with the new cartridge and I would suggest you get ahold of the people that sold it to you and get them to replace it.
