Question about Computers & Internet
You could just download a free program called VLC MEDIA PLAYER from WWW.CNET.COM which will let you play DVDs on your Windows XP computer.
Here is the direct link to their download page where you can read about the software, check out other user's reviews, and download it free if you want:
I use this free progarm on my XP computer to play DVDs and it works great.
Just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and highlighted text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated.
Then just click on the DOWNLOAD NOW (19.42 MB) button that you see on the left hand side of the page.
Then follow the onscreen instructions to download and install the progra,. Be sure to click on the yellow security bar at top of the page if necessary to ALLOW DOWNLOAD.
Thank you very much and good luck.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
