Hello,

To get the DVD drawer opened, you must disassemble the player first.

Turn of the player and remove it from the wall.

Get a screw driver that can fit into the screws of the player. Unscrew all the screws and open the player's top cover.

After the player has been opened in such way that you can see the mechanism, go straight to that part. The mechanism is that part of the player where the DVD enters into, including the disc tray/drawer. The mechanism is made of plastic.

First, check if you will find any object preventing the drawer from coming out. Plug the player into the wall turn it on and press the eject button, you might find what's preventing it from coming out. But if don't find any object, read further......

At the front of the mechanism, you you will find a plastic controlling the drawer, use the screw driver to press the plastic and the drawer should come out. Study the disc tray very well and you will find the plastic controlling the drawer.

Good luck.

HOW DO I REMOVE DVD DISK FROM TV

Press the little button on the DVD drawer. If it is jammed and you can see a small hole in the drawer, open up a paper clip and make it nice and straight with pliers. Insert this into the hole and push firmly and the drawer will pop open.

Also look on the remote for an EJECT command.

Dvd or cd are not open

I think you are saying that the CD/DVD drive drawer will not open?
Most drives have a tiny hole above the drawer. You need to straighten out a paper clip ,then poke it into the hole. This should release the drawer catch and you can open it by gently pulling. It may be jammed as a disk was not properly seated inside.
Check on My Computer that your computer recognises the CD/DVD player is there.

Dvd is jammed

If the DVD player/drive door or drawer will not open, try taking a regular metal paper clip, straightening it out, and inserting it into the small hole that releases the cover. Use a flashlight to look for this little hole, insert the paper clip straight in, and press firmly. The door/drawer should come open.

This is a dvd recorder for a tv the door door to yhe dvd will not open

sounds like something has jammed in the drawer track
on the front of the drive is a very small hole
that is the manual open override
use a paperclip and push it into the hole as far as needed until the drawer opens
then slowly open the drawer by hand
look on both sides of the drawer to make sure there is no dirt or other foreign matter in the tracks where the drawer opens

The dvd drawer won't open. it is "stuck" closed.

Hello

A stuck drawer indicates a jammed mechanism or the presence of a mechanical drawer lock.

Locate your DVD player's manual Eject button. It is usually a small hole located underneath the DVD drawer.

Insert a stiff wire-such as a paperclip or safety pin-into the hole. Push gently and the drawer should open partway. Gently pull the drawer the rest of the way open.
