Dynamic ip addresses are set to change from time to time since there are configured that way by your internet service provider. If you would like to have the same ip address everytime, you can request for a static ip address from them but that is mostly being used for businesses and is priced differently.

Reset your router back to it's factory settings by holding the reset button for about 5 seconds. I have provided a list of the most popular router brands. If it does not work you may need to google what your specific model's default IP address/default username/default passwords are, for example search for "Encore ENHWI-2AN3 default IP address" The default login info can change, it can depend on where you obtained your router. If you purchased it yourself from a store then the standard defaults should work. If you obtained your router from your Internet Provider you may need to contact your service provider. It also may depend whether it's an old or new model router as well. And you may need to press and hold the reset button on your router several times before it actually clears. Make sure you have a wired connection then once you have accessed your router simply run the Setup Wizard. Set your SSID as something you'll remember like "Mavericks Network" and your Password can be something like your phone number for example 3109876543

I changed my dlink dir-300 router's ip address to 192.168.0.2.now i cannot access the page.did i spoil it?what can i do now?can i reset it?will resetting it change d ip address back to 192.168.0.1 ?please...

Yes, resetting it will revert it back to factory settings (and therefore original IP address). Sometimes it is best to start over when something like this happens. ;)

Remember though, if you are configuring your router with a wireless connection you need to disconnect/reconnect to you wireless network (because you just changed it's address).

I changed something on my router by accident and now i can't access my router setup page can u help me

Can you still get on the internet?

Is it possible the IP address of the router changed?

Open a command prompt (start>run>cmd>ok)

At the command prompt, type: ipconfig
This will show the IP address of your pc, the mask and the Gateway.

We are interested in the "gateway" IP address.
type "ping 192.168.x.x" (where x is the IP address)

If you get 4 sent and 4 recieved, you are seeing the router (gateway)

Need IP address for Dell 5100cn printer

You will need to print off a printer settings page. Usually found under the Reports menu or something similar. It will list the IP address. Once you have the IP Address, make sure it is set correctly in your printer drivers in the Control Panel on your computer.

I have a 30H4054 and need to change the IP address

After moving to a new location that had a new IP address, I found I was unable to change the IP address within the 30H4054 so we took the printer back to where it was installed and working before and someone changed the IP address there then brought it back to my new location. So ....have the IP address changed before you move.

Change modem

Hello,

First, I would try resetting the modem by unplugging for 10 seconds or so and then plugging it back in. To be on the safe side, I would also reboot computer. AFter that, I would try to see if it picks up valid ip address. If it doesn't, you may need to call your cable internet provider and perhaps get the mac address of your modem in their system (if it's not already)
