It is difficult to determine the specific cause of a "desert storm setup not found" error without more context. There are several potential causes for this error, including:

A conflict with another program or system component
To troubleshoot the issue, you may want to try the following steps:
Check the program's documentation or support resources for any specific troubleshooting steps or solutions to the "desert storm setup not found" error.

There can be particular issues related
to playing through a router or firewall,
including sharing your internet
connection via another PC. In order to
join or host a Conflict: Global Storm
game from behind a firewall you must
open the following ports (inbound and
outbound):
UDP ports 4658, 6500, 10010,
13139, 27900
TCP ports 4658, 6667, 28910,
29900, 29901, 29920
To host a game from behind a router
with NAT (Network Address
Translation), or a firewall, you will
need to enable ‘port forwarding’ on
the following ports to route data to the
IP address of your PC;
UDP ports 4658, 6500
TCP port 4658
If you continue to have problems
connecting to servers or creating
them, try bypassing your router or
firewall by connecting your PC directly
to your broadband connection.
Do
not use ALT+TAB and do not enter Windows when multiplayer is running. It
will kill the connection to GameSpy servers which are needed for connecting to any internet server.
Download the latest drivers from Nvidia website & install If that fails then try completely uninstalling the graphics card & allow windows to find it & install its own drivers. If that fails check you dont have an onboard graphics card on your motherboard, if you do, disable it in the Device Manager & also your bios (if you know how, if not, dont worry about the bios) Failing all this you may need more advanced help to check the card is installed in the slot on the motherboard properly or enabled in the bios
though...if you can use it and it is working ok except failing for games, check it meets the games' minimum spec requirements and that the drivers are correct. Hope this helps.
Cant help with the game cheats though...google that :)
I have the same problem, despite 2GB RAM, dual 2.4ghz processors and an up to date graphics card. You'd think this would happily run a game from 2005, but no. Oddly, I experienced this problem with Conflict: Denied Ops but no other game. One solution is, every time it freezes, to press ESC (pausing the game) followed by CTRL-ALT-DEL then bring up task manager. The game should then run again....at least until it next freezes. However this can get very frustrating if, like me, you have to do it every minute or so. Its just one of those Vista things.
