The ink cartridge in your printer has a short.
1. Unplug your printer. 2. Wait 30 seconds to allow the printer to reset. 3. Plug your printer back in. 4. Remove the ink cartridges, and wipe off the copper connectors you'll see on the bottom of it with a cloth. 5. Reinstall the ink cartridges.
Hope this helps.

What does error #1203 mean on the printer?

error 1203 is a cartridge error. turn off the printer and unplug from the power outlet. take the cartridges out and reinstall them. if that doesn't do it you might have to replace your cartridges. if they are new, return them as defective.

Here is what Lexmark says:

Cartridge Error: 1203 Your print cartridge has a short.
  1. Press Power to turn your All-In-One off.
  2. Unplug your All-In-One from the wall outlet.
  3. Plug in your All-In-One.
  4. Reinstall the cartridges.
If this does not resolve the problem, see More troubleshooting options, or replace your cartridges.

Also the cartridge that should be installed looks like Lexmark 32 ink for black and 33 ink for color.

Ink.leaked.from.refil.now.readserror#1203.cartridg...

You can refill the cartridges with ink but what they don't tell you is the cartidges can only be use 3-4 times if not less...the electronic package on the cartridge is not designed for multiple use. You may have to install all new cartidges and if the system has been corrupt, you may to uninstall and re-install the device for it to work.

Lexmark X5470 software rejects generic ink cartridges

Yes this may be the trick for it.

Error 1203 is an issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad...

1 - try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again..
or
2 - when error shows up, shut the printers power off; wait one minute and turn it back on press copy.
