You still have shorted circuits, transformers, loads.
Service manual:
http://elektrotanya.com/?q=showresult&megnev=SAMSUNG&megnev2=713N&kategoria=monitor&kat2=schematics

IC spec: http://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/pdf/219462/POWERINT/TOP246FN-.html

You should build one of this box so you will not keep blowing new parts, use 75watt. If the bulb lights up fast with full brightness, then you still have short circuts, it shoudl be lit dimmly.

I have a connex 4300hp . I have power until i key up ,then it blows the fuse . What size fuse does this require ?

There are many reasons for it to blow a fuse .Putting one in that is higher in amps won't help ,all it will do is prolong the reason it is blowing fuses. One reason could be IC 5 thats blowing them.

Fuse diagram

It could be integrated controller or ignition control.
Do you know what circuit is dead after the fuse blows ?
Or where the fuse is located ?

My jvc cd reciever model #kdr616 has for some reason decided to constantly blow the 15amp fuse on back of the unit. can you point me in thev right direction to rectify this problem. thanks

Hi dionsparky,
If your replacement fuse has an exact current ratings and yet immediately blew after an installation, this is an indication of shorted parts in the supply voltage line. Most likely it was caused by shorted output IC which is mounted in the heatsink. If your handy with electronics and have some necessary tools, pull-out this IC by deslodering it to the board and try the unit without this parts. If the fuse does not blew and finally the unit power up, you must replaced this IC and your unit will back to normal again.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.

Roland KC-550 blows 500ma fuses in power supply for no appearent reason. Why does this happen and are fuses correct value?

Fuses blow when there is an overload. This is caused by a faulty part in either the power supply (such as transformer or any semi-conductor -diodes, rectifier, IC, transistors etc) or in the main amp stage - anything on the heat sink. The most common cause is a semi-conductor acting like it was just a piece of wire. A cause of an overload alsot is a speaker wire shorting, which blows out the transistors on the heat sink or whatever is on there, they in turn blow the fuse!
Whatever value fuses is put in will blow! The higher the rating however could cause something to get hot thus causing a fire, before they do go!
If the 500ma fuses where the originals marked on the end cap, then stick with them. Often it is writtten on the PC board too.

My PSW111 started blowing fuses this week. When I put in a new fuse it blows right away. Went through 4 of them today.

The reason a fuse blows is due to some semi-conductor device now acting like it was a piece of wire. The thing could be either in the power supply part or the main amp device. If you see something like a transistor or IC that's been getting hot or is damaged that will be the culprit. If all OK, If I was you, I would replace first the main part for the amp section. It might be the biggest or on a heatsink.

I have a 42 inch ILO Flat Screen TV that is only about 3 years old. I was watching it the other night and it just went dead on me. Any idea what happened and is it fixable?

sounds like an ic chip went out possibly a what is called a mosfet but can't be sure unless I saw it could always be a blown capacitor as well but not likely. I have a 42in philips lcd and it did the same thing I knew it was the power supply but when I looked at it there was no obvious problem after blowing a few fuses to isolate the problem by taking out all the ics and then putting them in one by one to see when the fuse blows i came to the conclusion that on ic the mosfet would blow the fuse i orderded the part online for like $7 including shipping replaced it and now everything is working like a charm. I live in oregon if for some reason you are as well I could always take a look at it for you.

Pioneer DJM 600 mixer keeps blowing ic 557 fuse on power supply board

I repair DJM 600 for many years. :) The reason for the burning of IC 557 (+8V H 600mA ) is invalid amplifier for headphones!!!
Replace IC 310 and IC 312 (in big mainboard), and replace
IC 557with original fuse 600mA
!!!!!CHECK YOUR HEADPHONES!!!!!! This is the cause burning amps.!!!!!
