I have mobile broadband but i cant get connected. the error message says server proxy needs to be changed. i dont know what to do. i cant get connected to explorer but have a 3g cennection. help

If U r using Internet Explorer from windows Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings and TICK automatically detect settings and remove all other ticks from all other boxes.

Cant sign in error message 81003004



You simply have to check the connection preferences and check

"Connect via a proxy server."

then select

"HTTP proxy"

after that take a look at your internet connection dropdown list..

some mistakes are seen here.. instead of having the "broadband" connection selected the "dial-up" connection was chosen by YM itself

go to messenger, then click on the connection preference to check if it connect direct to the internet or connect via proxy server if it is on the connect via proxy then may be you need to change the intenet connect by clicking the broadband cable or high speedTI/ LAN

Receiving error 81003004. HELP I can check messages... and have not changed my password, but can not open messenger... suggestions?


First method:
1. go to messenger menu
2. select connection preference/ preference
3. the tab will automatic select connection preference, if it doesn’t, select it manual.
4. change your internet conection type, Example: if Broadband -> broadband(DSL/Cable).

Second Method
If any proxy in Internet Explorer for anti-filtering purposes, thru which Y! Messenger was trying to connect. Need to remove it to get it done.

just go to:
Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections (tab) > Lan Settings (button)
then uncheck the Proxy server checkbox.

Why i see error number 81003005 in yahoo messenger?


This message appear probably because of your computer proxy software by default change your connection properties.
Solution is
Open you internet explorer
  • click tools>>>Internet option>>>connection tap
  • Under Dial-up and Virtual Private Network setting
  • Double click your current internet connection that you are using now
  • Make sure that under Proxy Server, the ‘Use a proxy server for this connection’ isUNCHECKED
  • Now back to connection tab
  • Click LAN setting
  • Make sure that under Proxy Server, the ‘Use a proxy server for this connection’ isUNCHECKED
  • Click OK>>OK
  • Try to logging to your Yahoo messsenger again.

You can try this:

Goto Connection Prefrences and use a http proxy

Click on Messenger
Select Preferences
Under Category, choose "Connection"
Then, click on the "HTTP proxy" radio button.

Note: You might want to check the internet connection type as well. If you are using Broadband (DSL/Cable), then change it to Broadband (DSL/Cable).

You cant change your ip yourself, the ip is provided from you internet-provider, but you can go via proxy servers and that way get different ip:s
Or via anonymus server who dont shows your ip at all

Error in installing yahoo!7 messenger 9.0


make sure you have the latest update on software by using windows update

Make sure messenger is off, then go to regedit then open up HKEY CURRENT USER then open up SOFTWARE then open up MICROSOFT then open up WINDOWS then open up CURRENT VERSION then click on Internet Settings but dont open it just click on it then go half way down the list to find PROXY ENABLE,PROXY SERVER,PROXY OVERRIDE then click on PROXY ENABLE click modify binary and change from 0x00000000 (1) to 0x00000000 (0) then delete PROXY SERVER and PROXY OVERRIDE and there you go sign into messenger this has worked perfect for me hope it does for you.

It's either one of the two:

- Yahoo! servers are down for maintenance, the only fix would be to wait.

- Your connection preferences are wrong:
Messenger tab just above where you sign in and then click the Connection Preference option
