You can download the drivers here. It looks like you are going to need to install the vista drivers, then go back to the windows 7 page and install the windows 7 update for this device. Here is a link to the vista driver page ....

If this was a help please give me 4 thumbs up as I am trying to build up my rep on this site!
The driver or software that's on your disc may not be compatible with windows 7.. According to HP website, HP has not created a driver for your printer that is compatible with windows 7.. But Windows7 has it's own driver for your printer..
Try the ff steps to install the windows 7 driver:
- frist, uninstall the program you loaded from the disc
- go to Control Panel, Look for Programs & Features or Uninstall a program.. it will load the list of all programs in your machine.. Click the entry /entries for HP Printer, then click uninstall button on top of the list..
- or you can reload the disc and it should give you the option to uninstall it..
Windows 7 have embedded drivers for this unit. Just plug it using a USB cable and windows will detect the unit and install it. This is for basic capabilities of printing. There is another walk around which is running the disk (or the executable files *.exe in the disk) on compatibility mode but it might not install properly. I would use the first option, it's a lot easier and faster
