Soft start means that your grinder will start at a slower speed, then rev up to the normal speed, so the grinder won't "dig" into your work.

Hope that helps.

I just bought a Delta 36-5000 Table saw . the motor starts winding up slow and does not have much power. I am plugged into a wall outlet with No extention cord. Please I need some help on this one.

is the table required voltage the same as your mains supply voltage
if it is right take it back for a warranty check
check the wattage ( hp) rating for the motor as many have a low power motor to start with and are meant to cut thin material
the slow start( soft start) could be a safety feature or it could indicate a faulty item

What is struts

In the old days, cars and trucks had leaf spring assisted suspension. Later, cars design meant that the leaf springs at the front were too stiff and were not really needed to be that tough, as rides were quite rough. So the coil spring was invented and only trucks retained the leaf springs at the front and back until today where most trucks have soft, twin leaf springs at the front and air bag suspension at their rear, thus the handling and driving comfort was improved. Until the early 90's some cars started to become compact and the need to provide more engine room for all that anti-pollution network of pipes and canisters meant that they had to find a way to accommodate all that by inventing yet another kind of suspension, the coil spring and shockers put together as one and named struts. With these struts came the modern car of today. If you want to know more about struts, you can always check this link:

How are you meant to apply this matte mousse product as chunky?

You just use your fingers to put it on until you have the desired look, alternatively you can use a soft sponge which you can get just about anywhere

I got a camelback as a gift and I can't figure out how to use the mouthpiece. There is a soft latex tip. Is that meant to stay on there and if so, do I have to **** it. Or, does the hard plstic cap...

The soft tip should have a **** in it, that is the opening that the water is delivered from. Usually it does a very good job of sealing itself. Simply put the mouth piece in your mouth with the **** vertically and bite on it. They work off gravity feed.

I have a 2000 chevy blazer. had to short fix left rear brake line with hose and clamps. bled air from that side, brakes were soft in the pedal. checked right rear for any air had none. brakes still feel...

do not drive the vehicle. remove the hoze. replace it with steel line. rubber hoses are not meant for the high pressures of brake lines. it is expanding when you press the brake pedal. very unsafe.
