Question about Frigidaire PLD4375RFC Dishwasher

2 Answers

I have a Frigidaire Model PLD4375RFC2 dishwasher. Tonight, there was a brand new vibrating sound coming from the lower left quadrat of the front door. I have taken out the baskets and filters at the center/bottom and cleaned out all gunk. The unit seems to fill and drain normally. The sound appears to come from the region of the door where the soap dispenser lives.

Thanks. I did all that you suggested. I discovered a leak where the supply line connects to a brass fitting near the left side, making the 90 degree change in water flow up into the unit.

The waves in the water left on the floor after I mopped up suggests that the vibration comes from a flexible-foam covered plastic housing that seems to be underneath the pump and drain. Could there be something stuck in there?

The "normal" cycle indicates a 93 minute time course. The vibration starts when there is 91 minutes left (2 minutes in).

    Thanks,

I already opened up the pump/drain, and found a bit of plastic. Vibration solved. Now I have the leak of the valve to deal with. Any advice about removal and replacement?

    Thanks,

Don't know. It has been raining a ton here and power has been on and off. Is there a way to try to pay again?

Take off the bottom toe plate secured by two screws located at the very bottom
front.

Take out the baskets , filters, and run the unit with the pump and drain exposed.

Now listen for the noise.

Watch under the unit see if you see vibration.

Listen to see what cycle it is running in when the noise starts.

Water entering the unit....

Wash cycle....

Drain cycle.

Please post results

I ust replaced belt/tensioner/front upper and lower felt and rear bearing and clean vent out still have a vibration/ humming noise could noise come from exhaust blower ?

That is exactly what it is. Frigidaire dryers are known for the bearing wearing down and causing the vibration. Here is the new blower you need.
Don't forget to move the thermostat over from the old blower to the new one!

Frigidire pld4375rfc2 display says er

I rough guess is that there is moisture build up in the air vent causing the controller to fail. This could be due to not enough gap between the dishwasher console and the kitchen benchtop.
Not sure how long you have had the dishwasher, but a check might be handy.

Refer installation inststructions in particular about the use of the cabinet seal kit.

It does sound like an inner door seal ,however If you get upset at Sears and complain they may help you as they say the squeaky hinge gets the oil..And with Sears the more you squeak the better your chances of results ...Good Luck

Our PLD4375RFC2 dishwasher fills up with water but doesn't run

no their is no fuse. sound to me like your motor is not working, however
the pump should still drain out.push cancel only and unit should drain if it does then id say motor bad. you can try to take apart and check motor blade ive seen toothpics, food , other objects hold motor impeller from turning making it seem like its the motor but actually its just stuck..remove btm wash arm and filter cover thentake two or 3 small screws from a plastic cover covering motor impeller, look to see if anything is in their if so remove. warning if you see a white ball down their leave it alone reinstall and see what happens. hope this helps.

Frigidaire Dishwasher - Spray Arm Not Working

This all may be due to an impeller problem in the pump housing under the lower washarm. If the impeller is damaged/bad the pump will not circulate water through the wash system correctly. On most Frigidaire dishwashers the lower washarm and top pump cover can be removed fairly easily to check it out.

Do not get a cold water wash from front load fridgidaire only hot

most diswashers only hook from the left side under the sink which is hot, some dishwashers on hot make the water extra hot with the bottom element for pots and pans, sounds like your dishwasher is working properly, you need hot water to sterilize. Rob

Frigidaire FRS26R4A Vibrating Noise

Finally called a service technician. He said the compressor was bad and needs replacing. Fortunately, I'm in the 2nd - 5th year of my limited warranty so parts and labor are covered. He also said that the FRS26R4A is "junk" and it helps to support his family.

DISASTER! PLEASE HELP. WOKE UP THIS MORNING & DISHWASHER MELTED!!!

Amsanta, sounds like something got hung up on the heating element, stopped the lower spray arm and things started to melt. The lower spray arm, part number, 154414101 is easy to change out. There is also a lower spray arm support 154294101, don't know if you will need that. I believe on your model the lower spray arm just snaps on. There is a tab on the filter screen that will rotate to unlock and the filter screen will lift out. Now the lower spray arm support is accessable. If it's less than a year old, you may be able to get it fixed under warranty. Catriver.
