No memory space for application to your phone just replace it with a bigger memory value and it will work just you wanted

My name is Madhu. I use the camera Canon EOS 400D / Digital Rebel XTi. When the inbuilt FLASH is on then a message pop up as "busy now", when i tried to click the camera to take a photo then...

Welcome to Fixya
Err 99 could mean several different things, such as... Memory Card, Lens or Lens contacts....

Here's what you can try:
Remove the memory card an enable "shooting with out memory card" and see if you still get the error. If it works your memory card is bad. Try another lens if you can. Clean the lens contacts with a pencil eraser (be careful not to get eraser dust in the camera body or in the lens). Worst case scenario is, Err 99 could be related to the shutter failing which would mean a trip to Canon.

Thank you

I have tried starting the phone after removing sim card and memory card too but keep getting the same message "phone startup failed contact the retailer 3230." Could someone help????????.

Hi, the problem you are having is with the phones firmware you will need to take this phone into a phone shop and have the phone flashed and the firmware re-installed, the problem with this is you can only have it done at a phone shop as they need to install all the software back on the phone and the other problem is that this will wipe the phone so you will lose anything on it.

you can back it up if you have the leads to your computer and the correct pc suite for your make of phone if you dont have this just ask the phone shop to back it up for you.

their is no other way of doing this as you cant get the firmware and re-install it yourself the phone shop will charge you for doing this but it will be cheaper if you go to one of those independant shops instead of one of thos bigger branded ones.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

I have nokia n72 my problem is phone start up failed. Contact the retailer

You have only one option to "Do It Yourself". Remove the sim card and the memory card from your phone, power on the handset. If the same message shows on the screen. There's nothing you can do except to get it flashed from a Local Mobile Repair center or from a Nokia Care. If it's software issue, flashing will definitely fix the issue (flashing = reinstalling the operating system of the mobile).

It could also be related to hardware, so I can't guarantee you that it could be 100% repairable. Some hardware issues could be fixed through jumper tricks, refreshing, etc.. etc.. But if it's related to CPU or Power Supply IC, then it's not worth repairing, what I mean is cpu repair is not done anywhere, I don't even expect it's done at the Manufacturing Site since mobile handsets are not recycled.

You'll know the condition once it's flashed.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

My nextar x3-01 will not turn on....can you help?

The only thing you can do is attempting reset.

If that does not work, contact Nextar.

here reset instructions from manufacturer website:

I quote from Nextar support:

"Since the operating system and navigation software are preloaded into the internal flash memory of the GPS, the freezing may either be software or hardware failure. First, press the "Reset" button or push the stylus into the "Reset" hole, to see if the navigation software can load successfully. If the program still does not load, then the software may be corrupted. Also, if the internal memory fails to read or write and the software cannot load properly, it may be caused by hardware failure. In either case, please return the unit for exchange or repair to the retail location from which you purchased it, or contact Technical Support at 888-849-0846, if the problem cannot be resolved instructions as well as a Return Authorization will be issued for your defective product. No product will be accepted without prior authorization."

Mobile startup failed . contact the retailer

Your phone's memory card must be infected with virus or has some fault. Please remove the memory card and try to start the phone again. If it goes through, please back up the data in your memory card and format it. In most cases, this procedure solves the "Phone start up failed. Contact the retailer" error.
I'd advice you to format your phones internal memory as well, it will flush out any errors present. save your "phonebook" data somewhere and Make sure your phone's battery is fully charged if not plug the charger in and proceed. NB: interrupting this process might render your phone useless. So, be careful.

To format press *#7370# it will prompt you for security code, enter it and the phone will reboot. Your phone will be reset to "factory settings."
