How do I do a print screen on my IBM thinkcentre D1U?

Is that a laptop or a desktop?

If it is a desktop, that would depend on your keyboard where the printscreen button would be located,

if it is a laptop, can you please put the full model of the laptop?

How to print screen

There are 3 ways: 1. Press the PrintScreen key, 2. Alt+PrintScreen (hold the Alt key and tap the PrintScreen key), 3. Windows+PrintSreen (hold the Windows key and tap the PrintScreen key)

1 Visit the website or computer page of which you want to take a screenshot.
2 Press the "Print Screen" button. It may be labeled "Prt Sc," "PRTSC" or "PRTSCN."

3 Click the Windows orb. Type "Paint" in the white search bar and click on the "Paint" result under "Programs" to open Paint.

4 Click on the button labeled "Paste" in the top left corner of the screen. Click the blue "Paint" button in the top left corner of the screen, and click "Save." Find a location on the computer to save the screenshot and click "Save."

Print screen

Try scanning it with free version of RadarSync (driver updater) so that you will know if the driver is out-of-date. Out-of-date drivers especially the keyboard will cause a lot of problems.

If you have Windows 7 running on your laptop, click the Windows icon in the lower left corner of the screen and type "On-Screen Keyboard" this keyboard has a button labeled "PrtScn".

I need a screen shot and don't know how to use the print screen button. How do I do it?

Install a good image program like IrfanView. Open what you want and press PrintScreen button. Open IrfanView, click Edit, click Paste, click Save as.. , select the location, select a name other than Clipboard1, click Save = done.

The Print Screen button is usually located on the top-right area of the keyboard. It is sometimes also abbreviated "Prt Sc" or something like that. To use it, just press it when you need to, and then open up an image program, such as Paint, right-click and select Paste, or press Ctrl+V. Then, you can save or edit it.
