Question about Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Sound Card
CAN I USE A SOUND BLASTER TO CONNECT CREATIVE INSPIRE M 5300 OR M4500 WITH MY HP LAPTOP??????????
HI I BOUGHT CREATIVE M4500 4.1CHANNEL SPEAKERS I UNABLE TO HEAR SUND FRONM THE 4 I CAN HEAR FRM THE 2 SPEAKERS PLZ HELP ME IS IT A DRIVER PROBLEM OR....

Dear friends plz help me
i am having creative inspire m4500 4.1 speaker system it is heaving two audio jacks 1 is green and jack 2 is black. on my mother board (gigabyte g31) i am having only one audio out. If i am connecting jack 1 green audio jack front two speaker are working & if i am connecting black audio jack 2 rear speaker are working how to connect both the audio jacks for only one audio input. and good sound quality of out uput comes outside

Reply to venkyChelsea : I also have an 6720s and Genius SW-5.1. I have connected it to my laptop with 2 jacks (3out - to 1 input). I have sound, but it's not an surround sound ;) so, there is a problem here, simply, there is no 5.1 sound card on this laptop ;)

Unfortunately, i don't think so. You can only do it from a normal PC. Sorry to disappoint you.

Look you need a converter it can be found very easily and is very cheap go to any hardware store and ask for a 4.1 to 2.1 converter. Hope i helped.....

This is the simplest and cheapest way to make all your 4 speakers work. You only need to get a 3.5mm Stereo Y Adapter 1 Plug To 2 Jacks which splits one 3.5 mm jack into two. Connect the two pins (black & green) of your speaker to the female point of connector and the male pin of connector to Line Out port (green) of your motherboard.
