You'll most likely find your Air mix shaft has snapped - very common in the BA's and Territorys. Part only costs roughly $40, however the whole dash needs to come out so you can insert the new shaft. Less commonly it could be the HIM box

Turn on front window demister and it runs the aircon automatic with cold air , turn switch to hot on full after few minutes it will blow hot air.. Then turn off and change to car heater setting and you will find the heater is hot again... It must reset the system as its happen twice to me in a falcon and territory . I'm thinking during summer the system is always on air con and when winter comes its stall blowing cool air, but after running window demister on aircon for abit then turn up to heat with aircon stall on it resets its self.

I cannot find a condenser fan for a 1973 Ford Ranchero. it is the fan that attaches to the blower motor for the heater. 1973 Ford Ranchero GT 351 Cleavland

Yah!, sometimes, old spares won't be available. But if you replace with other model of fan motor with blade, but same capacity it will work out.

Tnx

Laurence, with all you said, I suspect it's the dash switch that's bad. Also, check the fuse that controls the blower. I may have blown.

Ford E150 Air Conditioner

What year ford. You might have a problem with the control valve, and I believe this is a 3-way valve, not operating properly. Depending on the setting of the thermostat it should close or open this valve to regulate the amount of hot water from the cooling system flowing through the heater core. Older ones were manually controlled, newer ones are vaccum controlled. Check the 3-way valve for proper operation. Have someone adjust the thermostat while you watch the valve. You may have to follow the heater hoses to locate it. I am not sure of its exact location without knowing the year, but most were on the right side near the firewall.

Someone worked on my 1997 ford f150 heater core. after getting it back i noticed my a/c only blows hot air any clues?

Sounds like someone knocked a vacuum hose loose. These hoses attach to vacuum motors which operate the doors which route the air through the ducting.

99 ford windstar hearter is blowing light warm air but not enough to warm or defrost. the air works. checked all fuses no propblem there. dont know what the propblem is. just got the blender door fixed...

i have a 99 ford also. the same thing happened to me. this is a few things i did to solve the problem.... my knob to turn from heat to cool was stripped out. i glued it and it worked for awhile. after that it did the same thing again. then i found out that my thermostat was bad and was not letting the fluid flow thur the heater core. after fixing that and adding the fluid to the max i have not had any other problems with it.... hope this helps you.... try the knob first.....
