Our dishwasher runs for much longer periods of time than it used to. There are also suds left in the bottom of the dishwasher after it has completed its cycle.

My Smsung dishwasher always has suds in the bottom after cycle has completed

Couple of questions?
1. do you have a water softener?
2. what type of detergent are you using and how much?
3. is the detergent HE rated?

To clear out the suds run a cup of white vinegar with 4 liters of cold water and run a rinse cycle. or just put a cup of white vinegar into the dishwasher and run a normal load with NO SOAP... you need to clear the suds from the system to work properly again. the proper detergent to use in most new dishwashers is powder style that is HE rated. and don't use a lot either.

Our dishwasher is leaking suds from the bottom of the door. It is a Kenmore. Model # 587. 15182402

There should not be suds in the dishwasher. That generally means that someone put dish soap in it instead of dishwasher detergent. To get rid of the suds, buy some Pyzeme capsules (for stomach gas) and cut about 4 of them open and squeeze the contents into the dishwasher, then allow the dishwasher to run a minute before pumping it out. It knocks all the suds down, allowing you to pump out the dishwasher and have no suds left. Use dishwasher detergent from now on and you should not have any further problems.

Dishwasher not draining completely-suds left

Dishwashers shouldn't have suds so somehow dishwasher liquid was introduced to the dishwasher. Vinegar, alcohol, or a small amount of cooking oil might help eliminate the sudsing.

Suds are left in the bottom after the cycle

Hi,

Suds should not be present in a dishwasher. Automatic dishwasher soap is not suppose to suds at all. If you do have suds it is from some soap like a hand washing or dawn that got in there by mistake.

To clear it out pour some vinegar or cooking oil in the bottom and run the dishwasher for about 5 minutes, then cancel. If the suds are not gone repeat.

Bottom thing is not turning... suds is running

YOU ARE USING WRONG DETERGENT IF YOU HAVE SUDS TO THAT EXTREME, OR DETERGENT LEFT ON ONE OF THE DISHES. CAN'T SAY THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN ANY SUDS IN A DISHWASHER THAT USED DETERGENT MADE FOR A DISH WASHER. THE SPRAY ARM WILL NOT TURN AS THE IMPELLER CANNOT PUMP AIR (SOAP BUBBLES).

When we run the dishwasher the bubbles start to leak out halfway through the process. I look in and see bubbles all up in the lower section. A white film also is on there. Thanks, Bill

Wrong soap. Use a brand name such as Cascade. Low sudsing. Before doing that, run a gallon of white vinegar through it in a normal cycle. Just pour it in the bottom and close and run.

The water does not completely drain out of our maytag series 200 dishwasher

One possible solution to your problem could be as follows... Could have been little regular soap or something put in that made it suds up causing it not to drain. Pouring vegetable oil into the dish washer tub will remove the suds. After running vegetable oil for about 5 minutes, pour 2 cups of vinegar in to the tub and run it on the hottest longest cycle with no dishes in it. This will clean the residue out and what ever "gunk" may be in the internal parts. Use Only powder detergent. No gel and No tabs. These 2 cause a build-up over a period of time of use and reduce the performance of your machine. This should take care of your problem.
