Question about Acer Aspire X3400 PC Desktop
Posted by Anonymous on
I'm having the exact same problem with my Acer Aspire X3400 desktops. I couldn't describe it any better. It's dead but the fans come on when I push the power. AND I have 4 more of these things and 1 other one game me a scare the other day when it did the same thing. Luckily with that one I was able to unplug it and retry several times until it finally came back on. The Acer support says it's a hardware issue and they want me to send it in. But based on our shared experience it seems there is something a little more "common" about this problem. Let me know if you figure out any other solutions or definite reasons for this problem. Note: The problem only occurred after we did a shutdown and then tried to turn it back on via the power button. We have never had any issues just rebooting them prior to this. It was just unlucky that we happened to shut it down one day not knowing it wouldn't power back up.
