Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies
If you are trying to print a microsoft word document, then go to "file" at the top left and slide down to "use printer online" and click on it. This will enable your printer.
check on your lower right side of your computer screen to check and see if your printer has an error or has documents that have not been printed yet that need to be cleared from your print que.
To do that, find a picture of a printer on the bottom right side of your screen next to your clock. sometimes there is an arrow in this area. If so, click on it to expand this area and show the icons for the programs which are running in the background. If there is a picture of a printer (or one with an "x" over it) right click on it with your mouse and clear the documents waiting to be printed.

Did you click on the print manager box, there is a parameter in there that will be checked if it is OFF LINE. Click on that and it will put you back on line. The easiest way to find it is to try and print something, when the little printer shows up in the lower toolbar or if you get a popup when the print failed, you will have access to that info by clicking on the box.

O.K. first go to
do you see your printer there? is it highlighted? does it have a checkmark?
if it's not there then you have to install it in Printers and faxes add a printer.
If if not highlighted then right click on it and "set as default"
then place your mmose over it and see if it says "ready" or offline
if it's offline then the connection is wrong, leave mouse over printer and change connection it should change to 'ready"
