Question about Microsoft Computers & Internet
Insert the installation CD and wait for the setup wizard to load. After
you insert the installation CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive, a
dialog box will appear prompting you to begin installation. If this
dialog box does not appear, double-click your CD drive and explore the
contents of the CD. Double-click the file called "setup.exe" to start
Select an installation type. In the setup wizard, click the "Next" button until the dialog box asks you to select an installation type. You must select either "Minimum," "Typical" or "Advanced" installation. Although the "Typical" installation is recommended, you can select "Minimum" if you wish to use as little hard disk space as possible to install Microsoft Office XP. Selecting "Advanced" will require you to select individual components you wish to install. Do not choose this installation type if you are unfamiliar with these components.
Finish the setup wizard and restart your computer. Click "Next" and wait for the progress bar to indicate that the installation was successful. Click "Finish" to close the dialog box and finish installation. When the dialog box closes, restart your computer
