Maximum demand is an electrical term/calculation for the most likely amount of power that will be drawn at any one time, not the maximum amount of power that can be drawn.

What size circuit breaker for rbs305pr oven?

If you're connected to a 240V source, a two-pole 40 amp circuit is required. If connected to a 208V source, a two pole 30 amp circuit is required.

But the limiting factor here will be the wire size. If installed with #10 copper wire, 30 amp will be maximum. If a #8 copper (or #6 aluminum) 40 amp is maximum. See the link below for details.

My top broiler won't turn on. Everything else works fine. I have exchanged the top broiler element with the bottom. So I know it isn't the element.

Could be wiring. Did it work before? Maybe, never connected? Could be demand of two oven's and or broilers at the same time exceeded the wire and circuit breaker capacity when installed and therefore were never connected.
Otherwise thermostat. Probably need appliance Tec or Electrician.

My electric oven heats to maximum when set on maximum but on other settings does n't heat up at all

When on Maximum a lot of electric ovens turn on both the broil and bake elements. When you turn on bake and it doesn't work then more than likely the bake element is bad. If you have a volt-ohm meter handy, unplug the oven from power. Remove the back panel. You should see the two wires connection to the bake element. No need to remove them at this time. Set your meter to ohms (horseshoe symbol) and place the meter probes as follows, one on the left and the other on the right metal part of the connectors for the element. The meter should read a fairly low resistance around 16 ohms if the element is good. If it is a high reading then the element is bad. As an example you can also check the broil element in the same manner and the resistance in ohms should be low, in the 16 ohm range. A new element can be ordered online by looking up the Make and model number for your oven. If you need one quicker, Home Depot and Lowes often carry "universal" elements. Disconnecting the connections and removing the two screws inside the oven that hold it in place will allow you to pull it out toward the front. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Whirlpool GR396LXGQ oven comes on by itself & goes into clean cycle, code reads E2 -F3-

Whirlpool F3 faults relate to temperature problems in the oven. In the case of the error E2-F3, F3 is the general fault code and E2 is the specific error code. An E0-F3 error indicates that the oven's temperature sensor is open; E1-F3, that the temperature sensor is shorted; E2-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 575 degrees Fahrenheit in "Cook" mode; and E3-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 950 degrees Fahrenheit in the clean mode. Here is the probe to order.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

The teamperature on the digital display can say 350 degrees and the oven thermatore that is located in the oven reads 310. Does this oven need to be calibrated? The oven is 6 years old.

The thermometer that hang on rack are Whooly inaccurate. A good one is the TAYLOR brand. As long as things bake within recipe time no adjustment needed but to do it;
  1. Press BAKE

  2. Select the maximum temp. depending on model it either 500 or 550

  3. Quickly (within 5-seconds of setting 550) press and hold the BAKE button approximately 5-15 seconds until "00" or the previously entered temperature adjustment is displayed.

Pressing longer could cause an F0, F1 or F7 error to be displayed.

  4. Press the UP/DOWN arrow button to change the oven temperature in 5° increments to a maximum of +/- 35°

  5. Press the CLEAR or OFF button to return to normal operation.
But before doing that i suggest a new high quality thermometer that you hang on oven rack

Oven only works at max temp

The oven temp switch should be replaced.
This switch has a long tube which goes from the switch to the inside of the oven. The switch can be replace without much of a problem but, feeding the new tube down to the oven can be tricky sometimes. The old tube will come out but you have to find the same hole to put the new tube back through, sometimes this will go through insulation and you can't see the hole where the old tube came out. It's not hard to do just be aware of this problem.
