If your keyboard is acting erratically and it only happens when your wireless router is on, try changing the channel you are broadcasting your wifi signal on. In the US, there are 3 main channels that are typically used to avoid interference from the other 2. 1, 6 and 11. This will be changeable on your wireless router and without knowing what model you have I can't give you instructions.

However, if this only happens when your USB adapter is in, but wasn't happening before even with your wireless router on, then you may have some strange RF interference coming from it. Try to make sure you have your adapter as far away from your keyboard and receiver as possible.

Netgear wirless - installed on toshiba satellite a45 - S151 will not connect to internet router = comcast - linksys also causes conflict with connection of other wireless computer

Presumably, you have configured your wireless router:
* SSID (your "network name")
* encryption-level ('WPA' or higher security)
* password for your network

With that information, any wireless device (iPod Touch, iPhone, NetGear wireless adapter) should be able to connect to your wireless router.

> conflict with connection

Exactly what error-message are you getting?

XBox 360 Adapter hardware conflict

Check the XBox LAN configuration maybe it is enable?, if you have the option to disable the adapter then disable it. Then try installing the wireless adapter again.

Note: If you have a hardware conflict, its a compatibility issue. Then the next option that you'll needing to do is to find an another adapter that is compatible to the XBox.

DWA-645 causes Notebook freezing

Instead of disabling all other adapters, I would suggest you try to unistall their drivers. Think carefully first though, because you want to make sure that you have the drivers JUST IN CASE before you delete any, you may have a conflict due to multiple wireless adapter drivers on the pc.

Connecting to USB disconnects my wireless keyboard and mouse

The best thing to do is change your usb port for the adapter for your wireless keyboard and mouse. It sounds like there is a conflict in the usb on your computer. What operating system are you running? Windows Xp? If so, you may need to uninstall the usb device in the hardware manager for both usb devices.

Has the toshiba a60 laptop got an onboard wireless adapter, cos i have been told that mine has a conflicting problem with the wireless adapter i have tried to install

Hi suze26,

Yes, your laptop came with 10/100 ethernet card and 802.11g wireless. You can try to un-install this device temporally to see if the conflict clears. If not you may need to go to your manufacturer for updated drivers. Try this: click Start>control panel>system, click on hardware tab choose device manager, look for network adapters click to see the adapters installed on your computer, choose the the 802.11g and un-install. Reboot, windows will detect new hardware and reinstall the network adapter, check to see if conflict has cleared. I hope this helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.com

No power to keyboard or mouse

this sound like an IRQ resource conflict, you may need to use another kind of PCI adapter.

you may either refer to netgear's tech support for recommendations of which device will best work for your machine.
