Learn to live with the particularities of the software you are using. If you do not like what it does, use another one more likable to you, or better still create your own.
As to mathematics, the best way to learn it is with pen and pencil, leaving the pain of repetitive tasks to the electronic brain of a calculator.
The question is why do you persist in trying to remove the multiplication symbol after you found out that the software requires it.? It is perfectly correct to have it there if you mean to multiply. Yes!! It is not absolutely necessary, but if the software wants it leave it, and spare yourself some grief.

SOURCE: Pythagorean theorem to find the width along the horizonal

You should checkout Bitesize revision:

To summarise - Pythagoras works with right angled triangles only (with one 90 degree angle). One side is always bigger than the other two - it's always the one opposite the 90 degrees.

The long side (hypotenuse) times by itself is the same as if you times-ed the other sides by themselves and added them together.

In your question, you're trying to find the across (which you guess as 12?).

The diagonal (14) is opposite the right angle so it's the biggest (and equal to the other two). We'll call across a, we don't know what it is.

14 * 14 = (7.5 * 7.5) + (a * a)

(14 * 14) - (7.5 * 7.5) = (a * a)

Type that bit on the left into a calculator (you might need to do it in parts - work out 14 * 14 and write it down...). Once you've got the answer you need to use the square root button to find out what a is.

    How to reset DTC GT5S

try this one About SRSRoot SRS-Root is an easy to use solution for rooting your android device, the software contains multiple exploits to gain root access on your device.
  • SRSRoot Supports Android versions 1.5, 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2
  • We can Root latest models like Samsung Galaxy S2 / S3, Note / Note2 etc
  • We have an Option to remove root from your device by one-click.
  • Powered by SRS Server *Safe Rooting without flashing your device*

  • Why Root

Let's start with why you would want to root your Android smartphone. Sometimes apps require special permission that the Android OS, which is based on Linux doesn't allow. These could be simple as taking a screenshot to higher level permissions to the core Android files. Rooting makes your phone faster, increases battery life, allows it to run more apps, custom software and ROMs which allow complete control over every aspect of your device by allowing superuser and admin level permission. Removing carrier bloatware is a particularly enticing application.
However, rooting isn't for everyone. If you don't know what a command prompt is or you have trouble handling .zip files, please don't root. The risk of bricking your expensive device to get speed gains and improvements only Android enthusiasts can appreciate is not worth it. Lastly, rooting can void your phone's warranty so please make sure you follow instructions to the letter. Also, back up your data before you root android! download <<<<<

My chamberlaain security + garage door openers

well your main PC board inside of the opener head could have lost the frequency, or the unit memory has been erased, try to reprogram the remotes by going to the back of the opener head and locating the "learn" button which is either red, green, or purple in color. press the learn button then ONE button on ONE remote, pressing multiple buttons or pressing both remote buttons at the same time will not allow them to be programed successfully. after programing test by pushing the same button you just programmed, repeat for other remotes, and if this process did not work than you will need to contact chamberlain

Everytime i turn on my pc the mail is my home page. I never sign out and the button is pushed to remember me, yet i have to sign in everytime.

Make sure your computer's not deleting the browser history and catch doing so erases the password from the computer's memory therefore you'd have to RE type it instead of the computer keeping you login or automatically logging you in

My solution to this problem would be to manually clear the catch/cookies and browser history so the computer doesn't keep trying to do that then RE type your password and username tell the computer to remember you then close the browser and restart your computer then try logging in again the computer should automatically log you in or have kept you login hope this helps

    I have a dictaphone Smart 7120 and I can't get it

I've never encountered that problem, but the manual says: Make sure remote Transcribe indicator is extinguished. Move the Transcribe switch to Local position. Locate letter to erase with either [Prev. Ltr] or [Next Ltr]. Simultaneously press [Currnet Ltr] and [Erase] buttons to erase letter appearing in Item Status display. A tone plays and Erase LED lights briefly. Letter is automatically deleted.
To erase all Transcribed Letters: Make sure "In Use" Transcribe indicator is extinguished. Move Transcribe switch to Local position. Simultaneously press the [Finished Ltrs] and [Erase] buttons. Tone plays and Erase LED lights briefly. Good luck!

Do you know how to determine the total minutes on the machine? I have 2 that I want to sell, one of which is on eBay. Thanks.

There is a way to do it. I believe you go into "complex" or "math" buttons. These buttons are yellow on the calculator. Therefore, to access them you must hit "2nd" then the button.

Better yet, you can also get around this dilemma another way. You can enter "the cubed root of x" by raising x to 1/3.

For example the cubed root of x = x^(1/3). It is best to place parentheses around 1/3 so the calculator knows exactly what you mean.

Another example, the "cubed root of (x + 1)" can be entered by:
(x+1)^(1/3) Note the parenteses around both (x+1) and (1/3). This applies if the radical cover both "x" and "1".

    Hope this helps.
