If you are encountering viruses on your computer be sure to check first where the pop came from. Because it might be that it is only fake Antivirus which is giving you the wrong impression. But you may also use this link to run a house call on your computer.

and download rootkit buster as well.

There are a lot of Virus programs out there that will kill the viruses. But most of the time if you have a lot of them that they have infected most of your files it is easier to clean your hard drive and start all over. Most computers comes with disc that will reload your computer to factory settings. You will have to reload all of your programs and you need to save your documents and pictures. www.norton.com

Sorry!!! I know you don't want to hear this, but the best way to erase them is to do a good backup of your files on a removable media (USB drive), scan the media you back up your files to with a VIRUS FREE computer with a GOOD UP TO DATE anti-virus, REINSTALL WINDOWS FROM SCRATCH on the infected computer (hours of pleasure), INSTALL A GOOD ANTI-VIRUS than bring back the files...

Sorry but you wanted to know how to erase them!

My pc infected by virus (registry, trojan, p.let). which i can't ftp, change my ip add, locked some my prog etc. so i want to format my pc and restore it ASAP.

if the virus infected most of your files & programs, and REFORMATTING is the best solution, but you'll lost everything. But if you're going to make a BACK-UP of everything, then virus will have it's back-up copy as well; so if you do have a licensed anti-virus better call the anti virus support number for them to manually removed the virus on your pc.

My computer has 38 viruses

save anything important to a disk or usb drive. restart your computer and press alt f-10, it will start the system restore process to reset your computer to factory settings...erasing whatever viruses you have. although im guessing you were told this by a anti-virus software company that loaded itself onto your computer and wants you to buy their software to get rid of the viruses..its a scam..they put the viruses there in the first place. once you reset your comp, you can go to cnet.com and download avg antivirus free edition. that should take care of those kinds of things.

I LOST THE SERIAL NUMBER TO MY DRIVE ERASE PRO DISK , MY COMPUTER HAS A VIRUS AND I REALLY NEED IT

• As soon as you suspect that your computer has a virus, remove your computer from any networks it might be on, as well as from the Internet, so that you don't inadvertently spread the bug to others.
• If you have virus-scanning (anti-virus) software installed, run it.
• If you don't have anti-virus software, you'll need to obtain some. If you can't get it from a network administrator or download it from an uninfected computer, you can mail-order it from a retailer.
• Start your computer (still not connected to a network) and follow the instructions that came with the anti-virus software.
• Keep running the virus-scanning software until your computer comes up clean.
• Reconnect your computer to the Internet and check with the anti-virus software's publisher to make sure you have the latest updates. If not, download them now.
• After updating the anti-virus software, run it again until your computer comes up clean.
Hopefully, it may help you to remove virus from your PC.

Just bought a hp mini and now has a virus infection. What do we do??

If its possible to burn disc, back the essential data first.
Dont use flash memory/USB device for this purpose. Virus spreads though them easily.

If the infection is small, u might be able to install some good antivirus software like McAfee or Kaspersky [my suggestion] and do a complete scan.

If the antivirus virus fails, the only way out is to re install the operating system. Backup the data first...

After reinstallation u still need antivirus software.
Donot open any drives further.
Install it from a CD.
then erase all drives except C drive[where u installed ur OS]- full erase by right clicking on the drive icon and selecting format option [dont perform quick erase]
Then do a scan to remove any malicious items...

Read this again b4 u proceed. All the best...
Hope this helped

Got virus

Perform a hard reset of your phone. That will completely erase the phone's internal memory.
Use another phone and call your cellular service provider.
Their technical support can walk you through the process.

It is unlikely that you have a virus on your memory card but, if you are still concerned, find a computer with a card reader and format the card. That will erase everything on it including any virus.

If this helps please vote for my solution.
