You should check the RCA shield ground on the head unit. The following page shows you hot to check it.

I have a kicker sx650 powering two kicker cvr 102 at 2ohms but i havve no clue on where to set the settings at and i know this amp should make these subs pound. i need to know exactly what to put each...

How I tune:
turn amp all way down or disconnect rcas for now, turn up stereo to a song with some bass you listen to and crank it as loud as you would (not max about 3/4, use this to tune inside speakers (don't have bass maxed/distortion...)). Now dial in amp: turn up a bit probably to 1/4 or so then tune frequency I'd usually say around 100hz, then adjust gain again to where it sounds good...be easy on them for awhile to let them break in (don't blast them all day!). Usually bass boost is only 1 frequency with a curve (40hz or something)...so I try to not use it much....

My amp keep going into protection mode everytime the bass is turned up,it didnt do this before.?

Chances are you have a shorted output or partially / completely blown speaker. Check all speaker output impedances. If one of them is significantly lower, disconnect that speaker/output and try turning the bass up again. If it works fine, trace that wire to the short or blown speaker. If all impedances look ok, or disconnecting that output doesn't help, then it's time to rip the unit apart and diagnose the amp.

Is the bass boost the gain or frequency knob?

Bass boost simply adds DB or gain to the bass signal. Some like it, some dont.
The frequency knob is the Low Pass Filter (LPF) that cuts off the amp output above
the set frequency. A bass system usually cuts off below 400 HZ and more often 200HZ.
A good, rattle your car bass note is in the 25-80HZ range or lower but most amps and audio
input devices cant attain a good low note with clarity.
"Low-pass filter allows only frequencies below the crossover point to be amplified. A high-pass filter allows only frequencies above the crossover point to be amplified - useful for keeping low bass away from small speakers, so they can play more efficiently."

I need help?

id check remote signal with a test light and also if there is a High pass or Low pass filter either on the head unit's settings or the Amp's controls

if your amp or head unit has a High pass filter setting enabled that would explain no bass being sent to your speakers,

if you are using a separate crossover to send the bass signal check those settings too..

if all else fails
test another amp on your system (if it works that would discard problems with the rest of the system's output)

Amplifier wont move subs

I dont know if this will help you but start at the deck and make sure that the outputs(RCA) arent crossed over to highpass and do the same at the amp make sure that its set for lowpass- set half gain -bass boost half gain- subsonic minimum - If that doesnt help try using an i pod with an adaptor that you can play it right into the amp this is to see if you are getting signal from the deck to the amp if it doesnt work with an i pod or mp3 plugged directly into it then you may have got you a blown amp going on- good luck with that

SPL 1920 watt amp

for 1 never turn the gain all the way up. it is not there to control volume it is there to match gain impedance between other amps and components. 2 i dont know what amp you have so i cant say much about that. 3 test the rca inputs by using a dif set and test the speaker wires as well

Bass boost/Gain

Both the bass boost and the gain generally do the same thing, except the bass boost is essentially "additional gain" at a particular frequency (in this case, 45Hz). I would suggest lowering the bass boost (10?) and adjust the gain. Honestly, you may have to play around with both settings until you find a happy medium. There is going to be a maximum the amp can provide no matter how you get there. Hope that helps!

No bass

There's a small switch on the side labeled LP-AP-HP. Make sure it's in the LP or AP position, not HP. There's a small dial labeled FREQ; if your amp is connected to subwoofers and the switch is in the LP position, adjust the dial until it's set around 80-100.
