Just a guess, I’d say who ever installed it didn’t hook up the connector behind it. But lets say they did. In most cases, the radio’s connector bundle will have a fuse. It’s a good idea to check your car’s fusebox first to see if any fuses are blown there. In either case, if you replace a blown fuse with "the right value", and it blows again, have a tech check it out. Note that if you try to get to the rear of the unit, do a little research into how the radio is accessed through the dashboard. Most car radios aren’t quickies to get at and some folks can do damage trying to get at it, but if you methodically take logical steps, you should be able to pull the radio, check the connectors, locate the fuse if it has one. Of course, there may be a wiring incompatibility, meaning, the OEM radio had it’s own specific wiring harness, the Alpine was installed, but someone didn’t get the adapter harness to fit the car. Tips for a great answer:

1 In the Clock priority mode, press and hold the DISP/
TITLE button for at least 3 seconds while the time is
displayed. The time indication will blink.
2 Turn the Rotary encoder to adjust the hours while the
time indication is blinking.
3 When the hour has been adjusted, press the Rotary
4 Turn the Rotary encoder to adjust the minutes while
the time indication is blinking. The time is automatically
set 5 seconds after the minute adjustment. The time
can also be manually set by pressing the Rotary
