If you turn it on and it clicks right back off you may have a short. Make sure the wire panel does not have any straggler wires going from one connector to another. Also you may have a very weak fuse. Check the fuses in your amp and at the battery terminal. Make sure the power, ground and remote wires are solidly connected. Make sure that ground is tight. Is the deck shutting off at the same time your amplifier does? The remote wire off the deck powers that amp so if the deck is also cutting out the problem may be the deck and not the amp. If this is the case then run through the steps I listed above but with the deck as well.

Regards, Tony

Check your ground wire and make sure it is bolted down into a solid ground. Do not use a factory ground make your own. Every system that has subwoofers has a little blue wire called a remote wire. The deck sends a signal to the amp thru this wire letting it know it has been powered on. It could be that there is a short in this wire, either from the deck side (where the wires are connected) or it could be also be detiorated insulation on the wire. pretty inexpensive to replace. In my opinion it sounds like you have a shotty ground wire. If you don't have this grab yourself a nice foot of 4 guage wire at your local HI-Fi shop. This should fix your issue if not let me know and we will keep troubleshooting

It is telling you there is something wrong with the power steering system. It cuts the stereo to draw your attention to the warning light.
Check the level of the power steering fluid is correct.

I had a transponder key cut for my 02 galant but it wont stay started. Is there any onboard programming options?

if you had this key cut at the local hardware store, all it is good for is unlocking the doors. you need a key cut at the dealer to work with your security system interlock, otherwise this is the problem you will have.

if this key was cut at the dealer and doesnt work, go back, because something went wrong with the programming.

good luck!

It is normal merely to copy the files to your computer, not to cut and paste. By doing so, you may have corrupted the card - try formatting it in the camera, see whether that helps
