Well the phone will not be accepted under one year warranty because it was damaged by the consumer (not a factory malfunction). Usually the only thing you will be able to do is file an insurance claim through your provider (if you chose to take insurance on the device when you bought it). The next step would be to take it to a store in your area with a technician or go to the store and buy a phone used or just outright. Depending on what carrier you have sometimes (like with at & t) phones you can take your sim card out and just pop it into any other At & T phone to use until your contract is eligible to renew.

Hi my Samsung ES67 was working perfectly until I accidently dropped it into water! Ive dried it out and re charged it but it appears to have died! Is there any solution for this problem?

What kind of water...fresh or salt? How did you dry it out? The proper method is to bury it in a bowl of dry rice for a week. Did you try to turn it on too soon? If so, you could have caused a short circuit.

I have dropped my phone and now the touch screen doesn't work how do i reset my phone when the touch screen doesn;t work

if your phone's touch screen has not developed any cracks, it could have damaged the touch interface internally, i would suggest getting your phone checked at nearest Samsung authorized service centre

Drop into water

Hi ,
The first thing you have to do is to dismantle ur mobile . Dry it for 2-3 day . When ur sure that it's totally dry then turn on . If it turns on , then well and good . If it doesn't , u can claim
warranty (i believe u are in warranty period ) . Keep ur fingers crossed when u give ur mobile for service because there is a small sticker like thing stuck to the inside of the mobile to check if the mobile is damaged because of water . when the sticker comes in contact with the water , it's color changes (Or a similar mechanism is used to check) . Hope it's fine lets see . write back to me about ur proceedings If yo are satisfied with my answer please vote for me(with atleast 3ups) . thanks in advance

Note : Don't ever try to turn on ur mobile and also don't put it for charge when it's wet .

I have been at the beach fishing when a big wave soaked me. My blackberry has died since...after I tried to dry soon as I put the battery inside Bold 9000, the flash is turn on forever and nothing is...

just remove the user serviceable parts like battery, cover, keypad and keep it close under a 100 watts bulb. you should have done this alreadyand the problem will be solved if its just rain water. but since the water is salty(beach) it should have affected the ic chips. you need to take your phone to a mobile service centre as soon as possible.

The main point is to act quickly, not to give the chemicals time to react. Coffee is real bad, and if you just left it there for too long, then you're in trouble. in any case of dropping into liquid follow these steps: Remove the battery immediately; rinse the handset in distilled water. Why? Distilled water isn't ionised and has a high breakdown dielectric; ordinary tap water is ionised and conductive. leave it in your airing cupboard for a week to dry (if there's any sign of damp anywhere on the phone, just put it back in the cupboard for another week). Reattach battery. If it doesn't appear to malfunction (bear in mind the battery may be flat), try putting the phone on the charger. If it appears to charge (and holds the charge), and still works, you've probably got away with it. If a phone is dropped into a soft or sweet drink drink rinse more thoroughly in distilled water before drying. Carbonated, sugared drinks and hot, sweet coffee are the worst. You may be lucky if your phone survives. If the liquid is greasy (e.g. coffee with cream, soup etc.) You can use a mix of iso-propyl alcohol and water. IT types use it to clean computers. The water dissolves all the water soluble sugar etc. and the IPA dissolves the grease. A word of advice for the future: leather phone cases (the ones with leather, not elastic, sides) are your friend. They can protect the phone from splashes and even brief immersion, with only the end connector significantly dampened. Good luck
