If it is digital TV, change antenna(UHFonly), and change position of the antenna to get less inteference of digital signal. Signal strength is the TV station carrier frequency, does not help digital video signal integrity. Often if you change channels will reset the digital signal cache and get better pictures.

Philips Plazma 50pf7320/10

Most Large Flat Panel Televisions have components on the power supply go bad; if you know how to use a soldering iron, sometime they can be repaired, most common component failures are zener diodes and capacitors. If you can't solder, but can use a multimeter, you might be able to diagnose the issue; if you need a new power supply they can sometime be found on ebay for a reasonable cost... If it is anything more serious then that, it's not worth fixing... hope this helps...

Theres a really loud bussing noise coming from the back of the tv ive only had it a month

A small amount of buzing is normal for a plazma set, but should not be loud enough to interfere with watching the set. Givin that this set is 1 month old, return it for warranty exchange.

That can be almost anything. Sounds like something is keeping the TV in shutdown. Contact a local TV shop.

Digital TV problems

You are suffering from a poor signal. Digital TVs will display 'blocking' (partial freezing of the picture in square or rectangular blocks) or total freezing of the picture, when the signal is too weak.

You don't say if this is a recent problem on a set that has been working correctly - that info. would be helpful. However, things to check include:

Has the aerial moved (wind?)
Are you using a new extension coax cable? If so try another one, as connections may be faulty.
If this a new TV, and you have not used digital previously, your aerial may not be high enough gain for a digital signal, but that is unlikely unless it's a nery old aerial.

Flickering at bottom left hand corner of screen

Remove every Electromagnetic interference source in a 50 CM radius: speakers (low cost speakers are unshielded), fan, transformer, UPS.
Make a symple test using an AM radio: if you ear noise when approaching the area (screen Off) remove the source of interference.
Some time a different orientation of devices will fix the problem.
It worked for me

Connection problems with Philips DTR220

There is such a thing as a HD areial, but in this case it sounds like you need to point the antenna in the right direction. If your freeview is digital then there is a diredtion the areial needs to piont, and there is a front and a back to it. You need to find where the signal source is located and point the areial in that direction.
