You might want to wiggle your speaker jack to see if it stops

if not it could be your sound card receiver jack

If you could not get an audio driver it means one thing. The type of audio driver you have is no longer supported either by manufacturer, nor by Windows 7. there is only 1 solution to this problem, go to any computer store and get your self an audio card which will be comparable with your PC and which also can be supported by Windows 7. It does not have to be expancive, just as long as it affordable for you

You can still make use of the old driver just run it with compatibility mode. As additional info...When you reinstall the OS to Windows 7 most of the drivers are compatible with Windows 7.

I installed Windows 7 in the Asus M2N-MX series motherboard but could not load audio drivers. Where can I dowload audio driver from?

The drivers for Vista should work just as well for Windows 7. This is true with almost everything about Windows 7; in fact, Windows 7 is actually NT kernel 6.1! (Vista is NT kernel 6.)
1) Go here: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx 2) Type M2N-MX into the search box on the left. 3) Select M2N-MX from the results. 4) For your OS choose Vista 32-bit if you installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7 or Vista 64-bit if you installed the 64-bit version. 5) Have fun.
Good luck.

Go to the following DriverEasy website, download and install. Follow the instructions and it should allow you to download and install the correct drivers for your Motherboard. Much easier than trying to find the drivers on the ASUS website.

There should be a subfolder called "Drivers" or "Audio\Drivers" or "Drivers\Audio". Find an installer for your specific OS/Processor. But you will have better luck if you can get the model number of your motherboard and search on Google for the drivers. Usually motherboard manufacturers have all the drivers on the CD available online for free download. They will also be the latest drivers available, especially new ones for Windows 7.
