What cable do i need to go from the tele to the amplifier as i have just bought 1 and the above cable is missing please

  • Anonymous Mar 24, 2011

    Makes and model numbers first, then the manuals. Then (maybe) a solution.

    Maybe run it by the manufacturer's support site or these guys...

    retrevo.com
    audio.manualsonline.com
    hifiengine.com
    usersmanualguide.com

    Have you looked at the manuals?

    Hint: is the tele a high-end audio source? Or is it just playing programs from a Cable or Satellite Box? The BEST TV-related audio would found in one of them attached directly to your electronics, not the tele.

It depends which type of connections are available on the television you are using and what type of connection the receiver uses.

There are RCA connections (red, white for sound; yellow for video), HDMI is an all in one cable, or a hi def component connection which are blue, green, yellow, red and white.....

Hope this helps.

Where is the fuse located on the rockford fosgate p300-1 amplifier? my amp will not turn on and i checked the voltage on all connections and they were fine. I've read several people saying that you...

The 40A fuse should be immediately to the right of the B+ terminal. If you bought this amp used, and it's never turned on before, it's possible the previous owner removed the fuse. It's hard to miss if it's actually there, so you're probably seeing an empty slot where the fuse is supposed to be. With the radio turned off, insert a 40A ATC (blade style) fuse into the slot, and then power it up.

Some cables are missing after shipment from US to Philippines. Need a picture of all the cabling from Amplifier to Subwoofer and to the speakers, please.

  • The first cord you see at the top is the Bose System Input Cable.
  • The rest are standard speaker wires in different lengths.
  • Then you have the Power corn on the very bottom of the pic.

How to in install the speakers to it

You will need either powered speakers or an amplifier for the speakers. If you have powered speakers with built in amplifiers, use balanced audio connection cables from the MAIN outs of the mixer to the speakers, Use XLR or 1/4 inch TRS cables.
If you do NOT have powered speakers you will need amplifier as well and speaker cables in addition to the audio connection cables above.

JVC RX-888V hook up to cable box - no video

There is some sort of setting you need to change on the JVC receiver. I had this same problem, and I read the manual and it solved it. You need to press and hold down a button to change the mode. Your unit probably says "TV Sound" right now. Once you press this button (not sure what button) like the manual says, the display should change to "DBS" and then it should work just fne.

Connecting my laptop to my samsung tele

Most common problem is the VGA cable. Make sure you have the 15 pin VGA Monitor cable.

1. Switch off the TV & Notebook
2. Connect the VGA cable to the TV and Notebook.
3. Switch on the Notebook. Set the resolution to 800 x 600 Pixels (Go to Control Panel - Adjust Screen Resolution). Then go to Advanced settings and set 'Screen Refresh rate' as 60 hz in the Monitor tab,
4. Switch on the TV. Go to Source button from the TV remote and select PC as input source. Alternatively, you can go to 'Menu' and select 'PC' as input source. If the connection is made properly, PC option will NOT be GREY anymore.
5. Press Fn + F5, F6, F7 (depending on which Notebook brand you have)

Kenwood stereo intergrated amplifier a-76

The only tricks to power up again are this:
Amp to Equalizer : Use the "Connector " of the Amplifier - IN and OUT and connect them to the Line IN and Line Out of the equalizer;
All modules: Use the system control cable like in serie, for example the lowest connects to the above and from thsi one to the other above and so on;
Regarding Power: both CD, Deck and Tunner have different colors to connect to the Amplifier power source, you can't miss it;
Audio Cables, just follow the IN and OUT with correct colors and you are done!

Good luck!
