How do I do a hard reset of frigidaire dryer GLEQ2152ES1

Unplug it overnight. That will definitely reset it. Did you remove the cover where e the lint filter goes in. It is usually held in by two screws from the inside. There should be two wires leading to two metal strip on that cover. Make sure they are clean. You can also reach down into the lint trap to remove any more lint.

2010 bosch vision clothes dryer overheats now it wont start

Clothes dryers have many thermostats and a fuse of r two to prevent fires when they overheat.
Probably yours is overheating from lint accumulation.
Although you have a lint screen, that screen will only get some of the lint, some will remain trapped inside.
You must take your machine all apart in little pieces to clean it completely out.
I have found up to a whole shoe-box-full of lint in modern machines.
The shutting off is because a thermostat or fuse has "popped" and must be replaced.
You can find out which one with an electrical tester.
Modern machines have a fuse or two, and up to 6 thermostats.
God bless your efforts.

GE Dryer DBSR453Eb2WW takes twice as long to dry clothes

A clogged or partially clogged vent will reduce the air flow through the dryer and greatly increase the drying time. I assume you checked the drying time again after you cleaned the vents. Have you also checked that the lint trap is clean? Make sure no lint has found it's way around the lint trap and has jammed the intake.

I would be very suspicious of the 240 v breaker double breaker feeding the dyrer; maybe the dryer is only running on 120 vac instead of the full 240vac. The motor would be getting full power, but the heating element would only be getting half power.

My Whirlpool gas dryer is not working

Instructions

1
Check that the dryer door is closing completely. Remove anything that blocks the dryer door from closing.
2
Ensure the "Start" button is pressed firmly to start the dryer cycle, the dryer is not overloaded and the clothing is not balled up. Any of these things can prevent the dryer from operating and/or drying the clothes.

3
Use a level to confirm your Whirlpool dryer is sitting flatly and evenly on the ground. Adjust the dryer as necessary for it to be level as the dryer will vibrate and make unnecessary noise when sitting unevenly.
4
Examine the inside of the Whirlpool dryer drum and in the space around the drum for loose change, pens, hair ties and other items that could have been left in the pockets of clothing. These items will cause noise and potentially cause the dryer to become inoperable.
5
Examine the Whirlpool dryer's lint trap for excess lint. Remove any lint from the trap and place it back into position. Always clean the lint trap between dryer cycles. Inspect the area around the dryer and in the ventilation and exhaust systems. Remove any built up lint and clean the area thoroughly. Built up lint is a fire hazard and can cause operating issues.
6
Check the gas shutoff valve if your Whirlpool dryer is gas powered. Ensure the shutoff valve is turned all the way to the "On" position.
7Check the electric plug and ensure it fits securely in the outlet.
8
inspect both the fuse box and circuit breaker for any electrical problems. Replace any blown fuses, if necessary, and reset the circuit breaker if it has been tripp

We just finished a load in the dryer and it worked fine. When we went to start another load it wouldn't start. The circuit works, it is plugged in, and the door is shut

Are your lint traps clean? Also, your vent hose going out the back of the dryer sometimes gets clogged up, and this will shut down your dryer until it is cleaned out. Try this, and if it still doesn't work - try shutting the dryer's circuit breaker off (or if its easier to unplug the dryer), and then back on again. This will reset the breaker, and then you can try running your dryer again. In fact, you can do the circuit breaker step first. If this doesn't work, then clean the lint trap, vent, etc. - and then return to the circuit breaker step. I hope this works for you. If not, let me know. I'll check back with you in a little bit. Good Luck!  Jim

Replaced thermal fuse ,ran cycle all the way than died again.Have had to replace fuse in past would usually get 9 months out of it .Replaced it dryer ran fine but after cycle completed dryer was dead...

Have you cleaned the lint out of the airways and the heat exchanger area? The lint filter traps most of the lint but not all, the airways and especially the area where the heating element is still fills up with lint. To get it out, you'll have to take the back off the dryer and open up the enclosure for the heating element and vacuum it out. The lint clogs the airway, which restricts the airflow, which lets the heating element get too hot, which is why the thermal fuse shuts it off. Otherwise, it would catch fire (and in some cases, still does). It should be good for another few years when you get the lint out. Good luck.

LG Dyer blows 30amp fuse frequently

Hello davidkado,
There is a high probability that when you replaced your fuse box to circuit breakers that the wiring at the fuse box was retightened. If your dryer had been operating Ok for the better part of a year and then you started to blow fuses on a regular basis.. chances are the wiring coming from the fuse box tap was becoming loose from thermal expansion and contraction and that by changing to a breaker system.. your wiring was cut and reterminated to fit the breaker tap. I suspect you won't be having any additional problems...
Regards,
Rick
