Question about Casio Exilim EX-Z1200 Digital Camera
Every item on this camera runs off a power supply which is called a capacitor. The capacitor stores needed voltage to run each circuit. If The zoom doesn't work the capacitor has gone bad. In your case the circuit for the power button has a capacitor problem. Generally the cost to repair is higher than the cost of a new digital camera these days. Look at Ebay and there are nearly 10,000 digital camea for sale everyday that don't work selling for parts
