Question about Labtec LCS 2408 Computer Speakers

Open Question

Re the Labtec 2480 Computer Bass speaker. I'm a little puzzled about connecting an AC transformer to a DC input. Also, is software needed to activate the speaker? As I'm using it on a Mac G4 I'm tempted to bypass the interior circuitry and hook the speaker up direct to my Harm/Kardon system which has an output for a bass speaker.

Hello
A [13.5V 6Amps AC] transformer is sufficient to drive its internal circuits. OK.

Hiw many mA does the adapter for labtec lcs150 speakers need

6V DC 200 MA; plus shell, minus center pin
aka, Panasonic AC Adapter Model No. RP-65A or equiv..

You want to make sure the plug at the speaker end is wired properly: + on the outer barrel and minus on the center pin (the adapter will have a little graphic for verification purposes). If so, your 500ma adapter should work fine. The voltage might be a little high but nothing the speakers cannot handle I would think.

I just wanna check was my little mark 250, older version, ever been opened or changed in any way. I was at the guy that opened it and told me that because of the input power of transformer that is about...

when using amps,, you can't go by the number of the amp to determine what wattage the unit puts out, after checking on this amp,, the white marks that your seeing on the cable, is probably just some of the thermal paste that you apply to any heatsink or CPU ,, nothing to worry about, now as far as the wattage,, here is what they say about that amp, so there is a difference between the 4 and 8 ohm set ups
The Markbass Little Mark 250 bass amp head is a high-quality bass amplifier with a solid-state preamp and an analog power amp. The Little Mark 250 delivers 250W of power into a 4 ohm cabinet, or 150W into an 8 ohm cabinet. This Little Mark has a 4-band EQ, Markbass' VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) and VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) filters, as well as both Gain and Master volume controls. The front panel accepts both a passive or active bass 1/4" input, as well as a balanced XLR input for acoustic bass pickup systems or a microphone. On the rear panel you'll find a Neutrik Speakon combo jack output that accepts both Speakon or 1/4" speaker cable as well as a second 1/4" speaker out jack. You'll also find a balanced XLR out, unbalanced tuner out so you can tune as you play without passing your signal through pedals, and a Send and Return Effect loop which saves you from losing your signal if one of your pedals dies or a cable in the chain gives out.

Can I connect a Labtec Model AD-SS-3 to my laptop?

This model of AC adapter puts out 14.4 Volts of DC current, at 1.0 Ampere.

I doubt that 1.0 Ampere is enough amperage to run your computer, or to recharge your computer's battery.

Look on eBay for the model-number of the original AC adapter.
You might find one from the manufacturer of your computer,
or you could find something that will be compatible in voltage/amperage.

I need a new power supply for Labtec LCS 1030 speakers and trying to obtain specs and power plug information. Anybody have the information available?

I know this is a little late, but the power supply that these speakers use appears to be 5mm across. The output specifications are 15V DC, 1000mAh (1A), with the center pin being negative.
