No cleaner or water will squirt out when I am shampooing. Yes, I have plenty of water, cleaner, power and set on floor cleaning Bissell proheater 2X

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X Clean Shot Upright
This could be that you have a defective water valve assm below the water tank or the trigger assm is not working properly or not connected. You may want to refer to your owner’s manual and check out the trouble shooting guide for no water coming out. You may want to contact the factory or manufacturer to see if they have service tech support or to send out a new owners manual for your current model #. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

My shampooed won't pick up ythe water

does your shampooer have a cap on the shampoo tank. Usually you take the cap off to let the shampoo out while shampooing and to pick up the water you put the cap back on to create a vacuum to suck the water off the floor..

Can I add vinegar to the water and steam clean laminate flooring?

Unless Shark says water only I don't think that would be a problem. All the vinegar will do is remove any grease on the floor and perhaps remove some bad odor. I rinse my hair with vinegar water every day after shampoo and conditioner. Only then do I consider my baby fine hair clean!

I am having a problem getting one of my brushes off. The other 2 came off very easily. Is there a trick to romoving them? Also, do I use the knaplifters before or after shampooing?

This is the Floor Pro for those wondering.
Generally, giving the brushes a quick tug with a counter-clockwise twist will get them right off.
The naplifters can be used either way, but generally are used after shampooing. Be aware that if you happen to have Berber or any looped carpet, absolutely don't use the naplifters. (I hate Berber!)
For best results, use naplifters, vacuum slowly, shampoo (1 cap of shampoo per line of water), use naplifters, allow a couple hours to dry, vacuum slowly. Vacuuming slowly removes the maximum amount of dirt from the carpet and even under pad.

I borrowed the Electrolux Epic Floor Proand the owner does not have the manual. I need to know how much soap to put in and I cannot find the power switch. Please Help! Thanks, Dana

Use 1 tank cap of Home Styles Turbo Shampoo by Aerus for each line of water. There's a clear strip on one side of the tank that has marks. If filled to the first mark, use 1 cap of shampoo. Second mark, 2 caps, etc.
Ensure you use the black bristle brushes.

You can download the manual in PDF format from the following site:

The Floor Pro is listed in both the current and older model sections; just click and download/save to file of your choice.

I cant figure out how to **** up water with my kirby dimond

Vacuuming a wet carpet with your Kirby or any other vacuum not designed for wet pickup could do serious damage to your machine and there is a real danger of electrical shock to the operator.
Your Kirby Diamond and every other Kirby for that matter is NOT designed to pick up water!! Even with the shampoo system attached it will NOT pick up water or the shampoo foam. Your Kirby spreads the shampoo foam around on the carpet to clean it. You then only vacuum a shampooed carpet after it has completely dried.

The shampoo solution goes in the back container. The clean water goes in the water bag in the front section.

Shampoo stairs

There is a portable shampooer/sprayer that attaches to the hose ( the long one that makes the kirby a canister vacuum). It should have come with your attachments. Looks a bit like a gun without the tank attached to the bottom...the tank screws on.

To use it you would put the fingerguard attachment on the front of the kirby where the powerhead would normally go and the hose with the portable shampooer where the bag would go.

The tank on the portable sprayer/shampooer has lines to indicate how much water and shampoo are needed.

Be sure to put the mesh nozzle (sort of a triangular shaped thing with a piece of mesh along the front that attaches to the front of the portable sprayer) on the front of the portable sprayer if you want to shampoo..otherwise it will just spray a mist. The triangular piece with the mesh screen is what produces suds.

Vacuum the furniture/stairs thoroughly before shampooing. Cover the stairs/furniture with a thick coat of suds. Once covered with suds, pop the suds into the fabric/carpet using your hands...working the bubbles into any heavily soiled areas with a soft brush. No need to vacuum after shampooing. There is only about 10 percent water to 90 percent air in the suds.

Then let it dry. 15 minutes to and hour depending on the amount of solution used. Hope this helps!!!
