EuroTech EDC158 Dryer won't drain. Hi there. I've got a EuroTech EDC158 with a drainage problem. The "Drain" light goes on, so I press the drain button as I always have. I hear the pump going, but rather than draining into the internal bin, nothing happens. Could it be a clogged hose? How do I get inside to find out? Thanks!

SOURCE: Pump in tank wouldn't turn on

Sounds like you've already figured ti out. The pumps on these fail regularly. I would bet youve got a bad one. If you want to know for sure, check for 110 volts across the two wires at the pump when it is running and supposed to be draining. If voltage is there, but no pump run, order a pump and you'll be back in buisness. Good luck!

Poor Earth Grounding
One of the biggest problems with electric gates is poor installation. In particular, many people do not properly ground the gate or fence during installation. Grounding rods must be placed under the gate in order to keep it safe for people and animals. Drier climates require more grounding rods. An improperly ground gate can cost thousands of dollars to repair.
Barbed Wire Fencing
Some farmers have tried to electrify a barbed wire fence, but this is a major safety hazard to animals. Animals can get stuck in barbs whether or not they are electrified, but the added electricity can lead to their death. Barbed wire should be avoided on farms and should never be electrified.
Interference
Occasionally, electric gates may experience technical difficulties due to interference. Local radio, television, or telephone signals or wires can cause the interference for both the media system and the gating system. Such interference can cause the gate to lose its electric charge temporarily. The interference can also cause brief spikes in electricity in the gate, which can be a safety hazard to people or animals.
Insufficient Animal Training
Since electric gates on farms are intended to keep animals in their assigned area, the animals must learn about the consequences of crossing the electric gate. Farmers or property owners must therefore train their animals to avoid the gates. To train the animals, owners must actually expose them to the electric shock. Owners who fail to shock-train their animals may find that their animals become obstinate or may get seriously injured.
Crime Target
Owners who install electric gates at the edge of their property often do so for security. Ironically, the presence of such high-tech gates may signal to would-be robbers that the owners are very rich, making the owners theft targets. Property owners may want to install an alarm system to accompany the electric gate to increase security.

SOURCE: EuroTech 158 Dryer. Green Light

Hi

If everything is cleaned then all you have to do is turn on the machine, turn the knob to STOP, and wait a couple of seconds. You'll hear a tone and the light will stop blinking. If the issue returns and the drain filter inside the lower front assembly are cleaned then the issue is with the pump relay on the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Machine is set to drain out, Drain light stays on

This means that the washer part of the cycle is complete but there is still too much water in the unit. Check the hoses and see if the drain hose is plugged or sitting to high.Check the pump and filter to see if something is lodged in it.

Eurotech dryer. ON light flashes on and off, beeps once, and still flashes then nothing happens, dryer won't start. Help?

The problem is that you stopped a cycle before the program knob reached the "STOP" (12 o'clock on the knob). All you have to do is turn on the machine, turn the knob to STOP, and wait a couple of seconds. You'll hear a tone and the ON/OFF light will stop blinking. Turn the program knob to the cycle you want and- viola! you're good to go!
