Question about Bose Companion 2 Computer Speakers

1 Answer

I recently purchased a Dell Sperion 580 desktop with Windows 7. Two questions: 1. can't figure out where to plug in the Bose Companion 2 speakers. connectors on back are as follows: Rear L/R surround connector Side l/r surround connector Microphone connector Front L/R line-out connector Line-in connector - connects to recording or playback devices such as a microphone, cassette player, CD player, or VCR Center/subwoofer connector - to a center speaker or subwoofer 2. Do I need to download a new driver compatible with Windows 7? Thanks for any assistance you can provide. Evelyn

Hello
You have only two speakers with you to be connected. There is no surround or subwoofer. So connect the output of computers' FRONTL/R to the speaker system. The amp inside the speaker system will do the rest. OK.

What you need to do is connect your green audio jack from your speakers into the green audio connection at the back of your computer and you should have sorted it out :-)

Are these PC speakers? OF so you need a stereo RCA to min-jack cable, assuming the TV has a set of RCA audio outputs.
