Yes sure google Chrome is the best browser, when i first downloaded it, my internet was running at a lighting speed, i even checked my speed http://www.scanmyspeed.com/ and it was normal too, hitherto i used firefox which chocked my browsing capabilities . But the only one advantage with firefox is that it has more add ons, which makes things much easier

While uploading files mozilla promps that page is taking too long to respond thus making my upload incomplete. What may be the issue?

Hello,

It seems that your Internet connection is either slow, or you are trying to upload files too large for the web server to handle them.

Mozilla Firefox and other applications not responding

Is youre Firefox updated? If not update it or download the newer version, search it via google.
If it is updated, have you cleared youre browsing history, cookies and cache? if not clear it, it slows down youre browser. You can find it under Tools and then Clear Private Data. Make sure to check all boxes.
If it still is slow then try to uninstall it and re install, there might be a problem on youre browser and reinstalling it might fix it.
Hope this helps. Reply back.

If you are experiencing this problem you may check the stability of your internet connection. The slow the internet connection the longer it took for it to download the whole page.

    Mozilla Firefox Open Slow!!?

    Hi,

You can fix the issue of slow running of Mozilla Firefox web browser in different ways. First of all, remove all unnecessary browser extensions from the system. This will make working of Mozilla Firefox web browser fast. If your browser includes any out dated plug-ins then update the particular plug-ins. Another method to make the browser functioning faster is performing a full system scan to remove any kind of malware from the system.

I installed a addon for firefox and now firefox does not start again. it keeps saying windows:xbl error or somerthing like that. can u please tell me how to delete the file or reboot my notebook.

You need to go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile name> (Windows Vista and Windows 7) and delete the addon, it usually has its own folder depending on the addon. For Windows 2000/XP, it would be C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile name>. If all else fails, delete the entire Mozilla folder from the Roaming folder (Windows Vista/Windows 7) or the Application Data folder (Windows 2000/Windows XP).

My internet is not going as frast a is should

You may have a lot of cookies, browsing history, among others, in your system. You need to dispose of these files including temporary files that your computer downloaded while you're surfing. These things slow down your computer. In Mozilla Firefox, you can get rid of this junk by clicking Tools, then Clean Private Data. Check all items (unless you want to retain the password) and click "Clear Private Data".

Also, you may defragment your disk using Auslogics at this site to boost the overall speed of your computer.
