Heavy duty construction adhesive

Ceramic is particularly difficult to bond to due to the polished surface. The shelf you describe is probably heavy, but you have no dimensions or weight provided. I see these shelves fail frequently when they are only "glued" to the wall. It should have been installed to the wall first with a bracket arrangement, then the wall flashed and tiled around the shelf (presuming you have tile walls).

I would recommend that you use stainless steel brackets fastened into the walls (may require using toggle bolts - be sure to run the bolt through the bracket first!) to support the shelf. Use brackets at each wall, then use silicone sealant over the fastener heads. Use the largest brackets that the shelf will allow, you might be able to just epoxy the shelf on top of the brackets rather than trying to install fasteners into the shelf piece, which might break it.

This vendor has nice stainless steel brackets:http://www.gsproducts.co.uk/stainless-steel-corner-angle-brackets/

Where can I get the 4 fastners to mount my TV on the wall...the TV is a SV47OM 2009 model and no papers

Almost any big-box hardware/home center store has a fastener section. Simply check the specs on the size and length fastener you need (many are metric), and you can get them from these places. The hardest part is usually trying to determine the size of fastener needed. It is often buried in the specifications section of the owner guide. For some strange reason Fixya thinks that the word "SCREW" is vulgar and won't allow it, so I uses fastener instead.

I have ceramic (terra cotta) block walls in my basement (house was built around 1920. The blocks are ridgid and were not laid very evenly, although the walls are sound. Plastering is an option, but with...

My house is of similar age and construction. I built a nice TV room in the basement several years ago. My method was the same as the way interior walls are built in new construction. I nailed a 2x4 to the ceiling near the wall. I nailed another 2x4 (pressure treated) to the concrete floor directly below the 2x4 on the ceiling. Then I toe-nailed vertical studs in place. For the studs I used 2x3's since this allowed me to get a nice flat plane on the front surface while allowing an inch of space on the back for irregularities of the block wall. I then covered the studs with water resistant drywall. The results were excellent and have held up very well. I also use a dehumidifier, since my basement was somewhat damp. I built the dehumidifier into a cabinet so that it draws air from the space between the block wall and the 2x3 wall. I don't need to run the dehumidifier in the winter. For the interior walls separating the TV room from the rest of the basement (furnace and workshop area) I used 2x4s for the studs, but the 2x4 along the top and bottom were just like the first wall I described. And by the way, in order to nail the pressure treated 2x4 to the floor, I used a power-nailer that uses charges that look like 22 caliber gun blanks. This seems spooky, and is wicked loud (use earplugs and safety glasses!), but it is inexpensive and very effective. The nails don't have to resist pulling out, they only have to resist being slid around, since the wall stud holds the pressure treated 2x4 against the floor. Good luck!

Error c620- I tried to copy on a piece of Tyvek (plastic paper) and it melted. I pulled it out using pliers and now I get this error message

are you sure it is 620? not 6020 or 6200?
try hitting 1087 two times on the keypad, that is maintenance mode now type 906 and start button or execute and start button. that will reset a fusing code. that is the only way to reset those codes for safety reasons.

My washing machine feels level(doesn't wobble) but

I fastened my wife's washer to the wall with heavy wire inserted into 4 pieces of rubber attached to the wall and the wash machine. Rubber stoppers about one inch in diameter are held in place on the back of the washer about four inches below the top with copper pipe fasteners used to attach pipe to wood. These are on the back near each side and the ones on the wall are in matching locations. I used a 4" wide board on the wall so the screws could go into the studs and the stoppers could go where they were needed without concern about studs. The two pieces of heavy wire (not easily bent by hand) is bent into a U shape with a flat bottom and short legs. The width of the U depends on how far your machine is from the wall. The wire legs 2 - 4" long are then inserted down into the rubber with the bottom of the U upwards. Wherever you drill to attach the stoppers on the machine be sure to avoid any wires or mechanical components and I attached them near the top for ease of removal for maintenance-- which should be seldom. This solution has held my machine in place quietly for the last seven + years.

How to Install Towel Bar?

Since towel bars are usually installed onto separate hardware that's mounted on the walls, use the actual hardware as a template to mark exactly where to drill your mounting holes. Hold a piece of mounting hardware against the masking tape and use your pencil to mark the actual spots to drill your holes. Use different-sized drill bits to drill for the two ends. The Molly bolt or wall anchor will require a much larger diameter hole than the screws going directly into the stud. (The size of the hole required for the wall fastener will be marked on the packaging.) Install the wall fastener into the wall, then mount the hardware onto the wall and place the ends of the towel bar over the hardware. Attach the towel bar to the mounting hardware using the screws included with the towel bar. These are commonly small-slotted screws located on the bottom of the end pieces of the towel bar.
