Make sure your screws are all in the anchor points. Also make sure you have the proper power supply for the motherboard. That all the power connectors are plugged in correctly. Also double check any and all connections to the motherboard. Especially the connector that your main power switch plugs into. My motherboard won't bootup after I installed it - adracamas.jpgOf course at this angle I couldn't tell you where it is... but it seems to be polarity dependent.

Had a power failure in my area, my dell desktop was on at time. When I turned it back on I got blue screen which I know is not good. Decided to install new/bigger harddrive since I need to install windows...

Hi, you need to change your primary boot device, try pressing the F1 key during bootup, this will take you to the BIOS screen, from here you can change your primary boot device from HD to CD, save your changes, reboot, selecting boot from CD when it appears during bootup.
Hope this helps

It won;t bootup

Is your monitor plugged in and turned on? There may also be a bad connection between your computer and monitor. Failing that, your motherboard may be bad.

Trying to boot fm CD/RW drive. Can't get at CMOS/BIOS to change boot process. Motherboard is Intel D875PBZLK -875p. F12 at bootup doesn't bring it up, nor does, F2, escape, delete. Using Windows XP SP3.

The command key is F2 - start pressing it immediately after you pressed the case start button and don't release it until the bios is loaded. If it doesn't work then probably your keyboard is iffy, try with another one.

System can't bootup any cd or dvd

Do you have a Win98 install CD? If yes, you should be able to tell it to boot with CD-ROM support.....then use xp disk to load or install your OS.......I'm doing that right now on a different system. It will format your drive first....which takes a looooooooooooong time, however, it is worth it.

can you post a little more info, as the case you fitted the motherboard to, does it have a new power supply, as it could be the power supply unit, if it came with a psu then check the cmaos battery and as long as you know you have connected the front panel connectors correctly, if theres no sign of the drives flashing it may well be the processor, but more info please
