Oops! Smoke from on of those is not unusual, as behringer is notorious for bad solder joints and BAD Power supplies. Anyhow the amplifiers are "most likely" OK. but your powersupply is shot. My PMH 3000 did the exact same thing. And here is the bad news. Behringer is also notorious for the lack of assistance in case of problems and will advice you to have the unit repaired at an approved service point. If however you are ok with electronics you can have a go yourself, manuals are few and (very) far between. I have some diagrams and stuff, so if you need some sing out. I have 2, MX 3282A mixers, nothing but trouble! Sorry I can't help you any further, Good luck.

With this type of mixers i highly recommend to change the whole power amp module in order to avoid later distasteful and strange mixer behavior, hope it helps.

Unfortunatly getting parts to fix older Behringer gear is next to impossible. i would suggest jut replacing it. If the ret of the mixer is working i would imagine it would sell for $100-150.

I've with me the schematics for Behringer Europower PMP-3000 -PMP 1280 & PMH 518. If any one will suit for your set, inform me. OK.

Plug a balanced TRS (tip ring sleeve) cable into either main or monitor 1/4 inch jacks and then into the amp. ALWAYS use balanced lines AND power the mixer AND the amps from the SAME receptacle to avoid damage from ground loop bounce,

Often teh power supply fails because of other problems. Unless the board has flame damage the parts that are defective can be replaced... Getting some of the parts that are special can take time. Most of the components are available at many sources however. The SPS400 power supply can be repaired.

The Right channel began to crack up and drizzle now it seems completely dead.
Changed the cables both of input and seapkers , still the problem stays the same. Any suggestion before brigning for a month at the repair shop? And get out with a 200-400$ bill ?
