Question about Sony Dual Shock 3 Controller for PlayStation 3
Toggle the vibration function on the controller (turn if off then on again). You can do this by holding down the Playstation button in the center of your controller. Then select "Controller Settings" and switch the "Vibration Function" to off. Exit out and repeat the steps, but this time turning it on.
You could also try to reset the controller. There's a little button in the controller on the backside at the top; it's near the L2 button. You'll need a paper clip in order to reach it. Press it, then reconnect/re-pair your controller to the PS3 (you know, hook it up via USB then hit the Playstation button).
If there's still problems just let the battery drain; hopefully it'll be sorted out when you charge it back up.
Hope that helped!
