Check the solder joints on the Main Relay (tucked somewhere up under the dash near the steering wheel?) for dry joints, i cured a friend's car by resoldering all the joints on the back of that relay. Googled "main reay" for directions to find it and then fix it

Do i need to apply seem tape over screw holes before applying joint compound?

no this is overkill. the seem tape is only necessary for seems, screw holes can be covered by a coat of joint compound, and sanded smooth after it dries

I am having LG 700E CRT Monitor, my scree is shaking means, the screen goes up either goes in the middle but if i just shake the monitor with my hand than some times it works fine

This is a fault solution which can be checked and corrected by you assuming that there is no component failure. There is a high possibility that the components over a period of heating and cooling, tend to bring on a problem of dry soldering. So my advice is to check the set for some loose joints that have played on to give you these erratic shut downs or poor performance. The fault seems to be with teh VERTICAL DRIVE SECTION, possible that the vertical IC is having DRY SOLDERING.

The best way to check for loose connections is to tap lightly when the set is powered on , If there is change while tapping then it seems that there are DRY solder joints. Remove main plug, the covers - with caution of high voltage, check for dry joints, use a good soldering iron to solder all suspected points.

Thank you for using Fixya.

My connex 3300 will go out at times. It does not power off but i cant talk or hear on it. I can tap the bottum of the radio n it will work fine.

hi sounds to me like you have a dry solder joint or joints along the board somewhere this happens mostly to old rigs as such I suggest you remove both panels and check for bad solder joints you can check this with multimetre if you have one to hand goodluck with it

The picture get black after giving it a push it comes back. But after a while again black what to do ?

it would seem your fault would be a dry joint ( a solder point on the circuit board has come loose) the only way to fix this is to have the board taken out turned upside down and find were the dry joint is and re - solder it. if your not aware of electronics then it will have to go into the shop. a dry joint repair should only cost you around $ 40.00 - 60.00 in the mean time sticking a folded peace of cardboard under the tv might work as it puts preasure on the board pushing the solder point against the joint

good luck

My LG TV is About 2.5 years old. The picture is still great, but it keeps going out. I have to hit it on the right upper area of the TV in order for the pic to come back in but it only stays @ 10 minutes...

seems the tv has a dry solder joint on one of the boards ie loose connection where the component solders in. The boards will need to be reflowed with solder and all cables checked and resat.

When I turn the steering wheel there is a very loud knocking sound coming from my tires somewhere. What could this be?

Your constant velocity joints or a ball joint, if it is more rapid while accelerating it is a CV Joint. You can now (thanks to technology advances) buy a half shaft and make the job easier! If it is a ball joint take it to a shop. Eithert way you will need an alignment upon replacement of either!!!

Seems TV has dry/ cold solder joints (loos connections) in convergence out section.
Please check cold/ dry solder joints in convergence out section in TV, specially on pins of convergence out ICs. resolder these solder joints and all would be fine.

Amp error

AMP_ERR means the unit is detecting DC on the output of one or more amplifier channels. This is either the result of a failed/shorted amplifier (or other component) or bad solder joints (as mentioned above).
