go to softpedia.com. download the cd key reader. Run it, you will be able to view you cd key. If activation has some problems, just call microsoft, and they will guide you to activate it over the phone.

im sorry to say, but you do need to install another operating system, because windows 7 was only a beta version, which was for testing purposes and it expired in i believe june. something you can do is use the system restore disk to restore it to the original operating system. goodluck

You will have to go to Sony's site and download the drivers. If you ran "upgrade" on the system, this mostly gets done for you. If you chose instead to load a new O/S, the chances are not all the drivers are included with Windows--so you need to visit Sony to get them.
